Do we really want all that? Leaves me with a huge jaw-drop and wondering, what in the name of Lord these guys are doing with all those chemicals/ingredients?

Most of the chemicals in your list are the chemicals that make up the flavoring.

So if you don't want the all the chemicals, don't use flavoring.

I would like to be able to find a source for all those different types of absolutes though. I'd like to experiment with some burley and turkey absolutes.

Good day Hoosier, thank you for chiming in!

I've read your blog articles, very informative :)

Ok, I didn't know those were the ingredients that go into the flavoring. So all manufacturers like LorAnn, Carpella, FlavorArt, etc use these ingredients? Are these safe for vaping? Those ingredients were pulled out from the FAQs section of a Chinese website. I really had some serious health issues while I was vaping on their eliquids. It could be the quality of Nic, PG, VG but could be because of these ingredients. Who knows :)

I'm checking LorAnn's ingredients right now. Looks pretty good.

Just noticed you have a website, exploring your website right now :)

No, they are not safe for vaping. There is no standard for vapor flavoring, so there is no standard to manufacture to that can legally be labeled as safe for vaping. We use food flavorings that are safe for use in food. That has a standard and a legal meaning.

The odd chemical names will be labeled "artificial flavors"
The absolutes would be labeled "natural flavors"
Extract from a beaver's .... gland is a natural flavoring used in some berry flavorings, usually raspberry...these types of details will not be, nor are they required to be by any regulation, on the label.

You can find out what our club is up to. Events tab will have upcoming meets and gatherings we know of in the state of Indiana. The Brick and Mortar Directory tab is a list of vape supply shops that a club member has visited and submitted information about. Since it is the club's site, and not my own, I doubt it will be very interesting to a mixer. Hopefully you find something of interest on there.

That's a great activity you're involved with. I hope someday I find enough vapists in and around my area, I'd love to setup something of this type. Oh well, usually I share my vaping experience with fellow smokers and tell them how it changed my life. Hope I'm successful in turning some stinkie lovers into vape lovers. Appreciate the free kits listed on the HoosierVapers website to turn smokers to vaping, a nice initiative you guys have taken. Kudos! Wishing you all the best and much success :)

And now to the ordering part .. So I visited RTSVapes website and added all I want to buy. Just the basic vaping stuff ...

60 mg Nic with PG base - 250 ml
60 mg Nic with VG base - 250 ml
PG (without Nic) - 500 ml
VG (without Nic) - 500 ml
4 TFA Flavors
A bunch of pipettes, syringes and needles.

No glassware or anything breakable. I can buy all that stuff from a local shop here. The total was around $140.

<rant> But ta....da! Shipping is $85 (International Large Priority Box) ... Huge face-palm :(

Well, off to check eCigExpress and see if they have some different shipping method so I don't have to pay so much for shipping .. sigh .. life ain't fair lol </rant>

You could also check Wizard Labs ... I've had no issues with purchases I've made with them and they have free shipping once you reach a certain monetary threshold; something you would have done with your purchase.

I hope they ship free to international destinations but I doubt. Oh well, can't complain .. they have the best prices on Nic, PG and VG! And, they have everything anyone may need for DIY. The sad thing is that they are out of stock for bigger quantities of PG and VG. So I've registered my email with them, I'll be informed whenever they have the stock. Just hoping they don't take too long to make the stuff available. Thanks for sharing the link :thumb:

You just beat me to posting that lol ...

At this time, Wizard Labs only accepts orders and ships to US addresses (including APO/FPO) using the United States Postal Service.
Orders usually take 1-2 business days (excluding holidays and weekends) to be fulfilled before shipping according to available stock and custom blending of chemical solutions.

Damn :'(

I've been stalking Wizard Labs cs and hoping they agree to make an exception but doesn't look like they will .. They mentioned that it's the customs guys in India who seized some of their previous orders .. I don't understand how can that be possible when I just received eLiquids from 2 different merchants just a month ago? I don't know what's going on

So I'm wondering which other "trusted merchant" would ship internationally? From trusted I mean, the one who keeps quality stuff..
