Completely stupid question but um what is the proper way to get your battery out of the reo...

for removal of the battery:

Remove door.
Cup hand not holding Reo.
With opening facing cupped hand hit reo into hand.
If the battery doesn't completely pop into my hand it has moved enough to get a finger on top.

I palm mine too. I've always been successful removing 14500 from the mini or the pair of 18350s from the VV Woodville this way and have never worried the method was improper.

You guys and Gals, doesn't any one have fingernails?? there is a indent in the black plastic to the right of the Philips screw.
just above the positive end of the battery. index fingernail fits right in to remove the battery.

I have short fingernails but I use them successfully in that little space to pull out he battery when needed.

Works for me, but YMMV
