Congratulations on your choice of a Wacom tablet, these things really rock !
Just wanted to mention about the tablet being absolute, if you have Wacom software installed, you should be able to change this. As far as I know, there should be a choice between it being absolute or like a regular mouse.
The more expensive tablets have more options like, the pen tip being sensitive so that you can change the pressure (ie; lighter or darker stroke), an 'eraser' at the back, and some (like mine; the Intuos3), have various buttons that you can program to your liking.
And then there is the mother of all tablets, now that is really cool (but totally unaffordable 8-o
!) !
