So, as my other thread says, I made a trade and got me a P+18650.

It fires like a dream, however when I got to looking at the contacts, I found this:

The other contacts are all a silver color. Is this normal wear? If not, can this be fixed?

Other than that, the thing is fantastic looking and fires amazingly.

I read where there were talks about buying caps, bottom buttons not sure. If there isn't a an option to purchase a replacement pin, I think that would be a good idea for superT to offer. Hopefully David will come along with an idea.

I am so sorry about your trade ending up like that. I would for sure leave a review under the person's name who traded that device to you.

I once traded for a reo grand, got it and it was junk. How in the world someone could destroy something like that is beyond me, but he had. I learned then that I wouldn't trade anymore, if I couldn't purchase it new, I didn't need it. I ended up getting the reo fixed, but it cost me more than if I had purchased it new from reos mods. Lesson learned!

Yes, someone sanded or polished the plating off. With so many unplated brass mods out there, some just don't realize it and accidently start sanding not realizing they are plated.

We have some spare plated screws around. Shoot me an email to: supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com

Not a problem. Some of the misinformation regarding plating comes from manufacturers who don't plate (or have had bad experiences with poor plating) and are promoting that raw brass is better then plating, This is completely false. See this thread for more infomation on the benefits of Rhodium plating: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/super-t-manufacturing/231517-why-rhodium-facts.html

Super-T uses only ASTM and Mil specification Rhodium plating done by a certified ASTM Mil Spec Plater. We do not plate in house nor use fly by night platers, we leave it to the professionals. We've had plated parts widely in use in the field for two years now with excellent durability results.
