Condensation in a Triton mouthpiece?

Hey all I was wondering if you keep the mouth piece condom on your Triton tanks. I've been vaping more on my Tritons and I've noticed I'm getting some moisture in the tip. I think I'm causing the condensation in the mouth piece because I vape and then I replace the condom on the mouthpiece. I was just wondering what all of you do and think?

I used to keep it on. You are talking about the outer condom over the drip tip.

I was concerned about dirt, lint and who knows what getting into the tip. After a few weeks, I didn't use the covers again.

Possibly, mine being left open allows the condensate to evaporate a little, while you are containing it. You can leave one tank off, and see if there is a difference.

Strange, I had more condensate problems in the beginning, and was wicking it dry with the pointed tissue. But lately, it's not so much a problem with the Triton tanks.

(However, major problem with certain non-Halo bottom coil tanks)

The condensation is more water and not juice, so I know it isn't leaking. But like you said being concerned about dirt, lint and who knows what I've been .... about keeping the condom on the mouthpiece. I was just going to do without them today and I wondered if anyone else continued to use the condom for anything other than storing your tank. Plus I'm vamping more on this horny juice. :D

If you wait till the device, tank, post and coil all get back to the ambieant temprature before you put the drip tip condom on, you wont get as much water condensation.

It just has to do with you keeping the hot moisture trapped inside the tank, as it cools. On why you are getting that build up. Just exhale into a large zip log bag, seal it while it is inflated with your breath, then cool it down in the fridge for a few minutes, you will see the same thing occur.

I do not cover the tips at all, since my units are always upright. I am not going to sweat the lint, dust, dirt problem like some do, since I clean my tanks regularly.

As a newbie, I still use the covers. I noticed that if I vaped and put the cover on immediately, some vapor would be forced out. So now I release the button and draw the remainder out before putting the cover on. No condensation problem so far.

I've been curious about who your avatar pic is, Evie Luv? :)

Very cool! Like FallenRawToast, I thought it was Chloe Bennet at first. I love her in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Kate in Underworld - pretty amazing. Wish there had been more kick-a** female roles when I was a young gal. We had only Lynda Carter and Lindsay Wagner back in the day. Ah, fond memories... :)

I think the bulk of the moisture you're getting is from keeping that tip covered. I always have a little liquid in my tip when I open it up for a refill, but I believe it's just traces of eliquid. It happens most when my battery is getting low, as I think it causes the eliquid to not completely vaporize and get drawn into the tip a bit.

One thing that might help is to draw a bit longer after you let go of the button so that there's little to no vapor remaining in the tank to condense after a draw.

First...I love her ^^^^ and she's gorgeous!

And secondly, I think your getting condensation build up cuz you're putting the condom on too fast after vaping, not letting it dry out or the "excess" vapor may leak out causing the condensation.

Either that or you need to quit French kissing the drip tip ;)
