Condensation or leaking e-liquid?

So I have the 510, and I've noticed, when I pull out the cartridge after I've been vaping, any cartridge (Only have the 10 that came with the kit right now), that there's drops on the outside of the part that goes into the atty. Looks like it could be condensation, but is e-liquid known to creep around the side of the cartridge that way? And if so, would it vaporize if I just keep vaping, or should I just keep adding drops like I have been? Another side note, I've noticed that some of the cartridges start getting a little bit melted at the end closest to the atty. Is that a normal occurrence, or am I doing something wrong?

The condensation is normal...and its unavoidable. That goes for ALL atties where the cart inserts. No reason for alarm there.
As far as melting-
Look into your atty...you'll see a small white box in the very bottom. Thats the cup. The steel mesh looking thing is the bridge, and its arched the other direction, and the feathery looking stuff you can barely see poking out underneith it is the wick.
The cup is rectangle, and the same size and shape of the end of that cartidge you put into the atty.
Now, the coil, (the heating element) is inside that white box(cup) and runs longways, almost perfectly centered inside that cup.
The purpose is- The bridge holds the wick, and holds that wick directly parallel above the coil. Usually though, the wicks are tucked in, and somewhat exposes the coil to the plastic cart, instead of covering it, and preventing direct heat to the cartridge.
The white cup, and the box shape of the end of the cartridge should match up perfectly, stacked on top of each other.
If your cart is turned to make a cross across the top, the edges are sitting directly above that coil, and on a 510, that coil can get HOT....Therefore, THATS why you see those half moons burned into the cartridge.
Your a heavy hitter, or consistant. That coil is getting pretty hot. (That part is common).
Just be sure your cartridge is lined up right, and you wont burn it anymore.
Feel free to also dissect a dead atty, so you get a better feel of how they are built, and work.
If you need anymore info on your 510- Im a pro, so feel free to send a private message, and I can try to tutorial you any info you might need to tweek your 510 into perfection. I still use them to this day. :vapor:

Well if are using the carts it's actually easier to just trim off a bit of the plastic, lining up is a pain.

Trimming the cart works like a charm, removing the plastic where the 'half moons' are has absolutely zero effect on the the filler and it's contact with the bridge.

Many folks also liked using 901 carts on their Joye 510s, these right from the get-go have a shorter section that goes into the atty, pre-trimmed so to speak. They work quite well and have a bit more capacity than the Joye 510 carts.

The condensation is normal, and if you look at how the carts are designed you can see the parts meant to keep from getting it in your mouth.

When I found that to be the case (burned edges of the cart), it was almost always that the bridge* was out of place - favoring on side or the other - I took a toothpick and moved it so it was centered. Carefully - you don't want to move the mesh off of the band that is holding it.

* The 'bridge' in case you're unfamiliar with the term is the metal mesh hump you see when you look into the atty chamber. This is a metal arch that is covered with metal mesh - it should be centered.
