Ok, do you have to get a drip tip or can you drip with the cartridge that comes with the vaporizor? I'm concerned about burning/smoking the filler material in the cartridges and cartomizers. Can you remove the cartridge filler material and drip with it?

You can drip using the cart as a mouth piece. You can simply pull the filler out of the cart, to eliminate the risk of burning the filler.

But, a drip tip is much more convenient. If you use the cart, you have to take it off every time you drip, which is every 10 drags or so. With a drip tip, you just drip right through it.

So, you don't have to get a drip tip. But if you plan to drip a lot, it's a heck of a lot easier.

Toritha, yes, it is possible and I know I've seen a video on how to convert a cartridge to a drip tip. I just can't find it now because only part of my brain is functioning (not enough coffee yet.) You can drill out the "guts" of a cart so you don't have to take it off to drip more juice on the atty.

I have drain bamage...still can't find that video...

is it possible to boar a hole in a blank cart to create a drip tip? how big does the hole need to be? how far from the end that slips over the atty should the hole be? ..... i'm cheap lol

If you have a 510 atty, the blank round tip cart that came on the atty pops apart. You can just pop the end off and take out the little juice catcher and it's a straight shot to the atty bridge then.

You can, but the advantage of a real drip tip is that the body is narrowed so that it always hits the bridge/coil, rather than running around the sides where it takes longer to absorb.

I have also found with that approach (yes, I've tried it too lol) that the cart has a lot of "hiding places" for juice to build up, where it's hard to get it out. There are 3 layers to it, vent holes, etc.

Check out wordupecig. Free shipping on all orders, and they carry drip tips.

ron - you didn't say what kind of e-cigarette you have. Some aren't good for dripping. I'm a noob but I think if you have a hole inside the end of your battery (end that connects to the atty) then you have to be real careful about dripping or you could drip juice into the battery and kill it. My PV has an external atty bridge and a hole in the battery so my PV is suited to dipping, not suited to dripping straight onto the top of the atty. I can drip a bit if I take off the cart and drip onto the side of the atty bridge.
