Any standard size tank carto will work. I'm using 3.0's from 222.Volcanoecigs.com, 1.5's from Elixir Liquid - American Made E-liquid & E-cigarettes and also the 2.5's with 2 prepunched holes from www. myfreedomsmokes.com. I'm including the links for your reference. Excellent service with all 3 sellers, I've placed multiple orders with all of them by now..... :) And yes, I am using them on a Lavatube with both the DCT and Phiniac tanks and they work just fine..... :)

SmokTech DCT Replacement Cartomizer - MyFreedomSmokes.com

I'd stick to the flanged type cartos with tanks just to make sure that the tank doesn't slip down and leak. That's probably common knowledge to the previous posters, but there might be some considering a tank and reading this thread for info. It all depends on how tight the tank fits the seals. When dry, they stick tightly. Get a tiny drop of juice on the carto below the seals and Whoops! They can slick up and slide down.

Agreed, I tried non-flanged cartos and punching my own holes, lost too much juice that way, the do tend to slide up and out, spilling your precious juice. I'll stick with the tank cartos and punch an extra hole on the 1-hole ones if I'm using higher VG juices. :)

I've seen YouTube video reviews where the reviewer recommended a big belly drip tip to give some downward pressure on the top seal. The flange does a good job keeping the bottom secure. The big belly drip tip sounds like a good idea to me. That way you have security in both directions.
