I Second the Innokin VV 3.0, that would make a great first kit. I wish I would've started with that 13 months ago instead of an overpriced junk fixed voltage eGo kit. I didn't have a clue nor did I know about ECF.
As far as the Vamo and the MVP 2.0t, they are both great great devices as well. I have one of each, they might be a little big size wise for a new vaper to get used to. The Vamo however can be converted to 18350 mode by simply removing one of the tubes and it cuts the size in half, I use mine like that most of the time if I'm out and about.
I saw somebody mention batteries and a charger for the Vamo and you definitely have to take that into account. By the time you add good quality batteries, (eFest, AW to name a couple) and a quality charger like a Nitecore or similar you're in the $80-$90 range.
I have converted several smokers to Vapers and would also recommend the Kanger EVOD kit. They are around $40 and come with two batteries, two tanks, a charger and I believe 5 extra replacement coils plus some cool color options. The 650 mAh battery is still small enough for a noob to get used to but provide decent power and battery life. Just another option to look at.
Fasttech is legit on most stuff, I order a lot from them but not anything I want anytime soon, mostly clone mech mods and RDA's. Communication/customer service is an absolute nightmare at best with them. They really don't offer much of a deal on brand name gear though due to MAP which is pricing set by the bigger manufacturers like Kanger, Innokin, Sigelei, Joytech etc. They have to adhere to certain prices so you don't get much of a deal unless you start buying in bulk. You are better off to order from the US initially IMO, FT does ship for free though, but I really think they send my stuff on a rowboat at times. I am waiting on vape mail from them now actually, ordered around the end June....
