Hi fellow vapers )

I'm a newbie to vaping - just a few weeks in. Currently buying skycigs, but loving the idea of organic liquids. I've read that organic liquids can melt/ cause defects in plastic tanks and that glass tanks are best. This means very little to me, I don't know where to start looking or what to look for! Any ideas on what kind of set up would be good for me please? You're help would really be appreciated..... :)

Hi and welcome! It's not "organic" juices that etch/crack tanks, it's all different kinds - especially cinnamon based: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/219179-lets-make-list-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-33.html

I'm not sure of vendors in the UK. There is a lady in the UK who makes youtube videos (Vaping Over Sixties) who has reviewed a glass tank, but I don't know where she got it. Just 4 more posts and you can ask in the UK sub-forum. Where are you in Wales? I used to live there.

Excuse my ignorance - but am I right in thinking I will need a tank plus cartomiser plus battery???? If so, what cartomiser would be best - are they susceptible to being damaged by juices too???

The cartomizer is safe from any juice, no worries.
And yes you need a battery. I would recommend you get a eGo Twist 1000mAh and a eGo VV Passthrough(you can use it while charging).
If you want a larger tank like the one I mentioned, a "mod" battery could be a better option.
For a eGo the Wee Willie would be a better fit :)

I have the glass carto tank setup I use for cinnamon and acidic juices. Tank from IBTanked, 19mm Clear Tube XL with stainless steel caps, and they even assembled it for me. I use stainless steel double pre-punched cartos: 5pc Boge 510 XL LR Pre-Punched Empty Cartomizer - Stainless, I paid $4.99 for the pack. I bought LR cartos for my variable volt Twist but you may want the SR, standard resistance. Only the rubber gaskets would be susceptible to the juices breaking them down. And of course you'll have to replace the cartos as needed.
