I just ordered a rough stack kit and ordered the 18350 battery to go with charger. The battery does not show positive or negative... the charger does... I'm not sure which way battery goes as it fits both ways and lights on charger both show charging when I put battery in to charge!!! SIGH! Any ideas on how to tell if I have it input correctly. I found a pic but the pic I found last night, the battery was inserted the other direction... laughing... now what do I do?

Does one side of your charger have nipples? Nipple goes to nipple on battery. Hope that helps.
Odd the battery isn't marked for polarity. As I believe hairball was saying, some of the batteries have a trio of tiny bumps on the Negative post. And, from the ones I've had, it is normal for the exposed metal of the negative to be larger than that of the positive.
I would recommend using a multimeter to identify polarity and then mark them with a permanent marker. If you don't have a multimeter, then there are other ways, but one simple way is to go to a RadioShack store and ask someone to mark them for you. They would love to help you out.
If you could post a link to the battery/s and charger it would help us visualize and get a definite answer.
I just checked the charger and batteries that come with the kit.
If it's the AD-103 which is seen in the kit picture the sliding post is the negative contact.
The batteries look like the standard blue UltraFire Protected 18350, 1200mAh. The button end is positive.

Look closer, I'll bet the battery is either marked or it has a nipple. The nipple is positive.
