tanks wont give you the flavor a carto will. i have tried both and now i have 7 tanks (i ordered 10) collecting dust, i havent even opened them. if you get the xl cartos they will hold just as much juice as the tanks.
if i had to do it all over again, i wouldnt even try the tanks, i would order boge 2.0 cartos, so i wouldnt have to mess with attys and tanks.
in the beginning of this thread someone said cartos wouldnt have to be syringe filled? that is not the case. i have never filled my cartos with a syringe. you just take the soft cap off and put 30 drops in the thing and vape away, easy as pie.
with 510 connection your options are many, i hope you find a combo that will suit your needs.
you could also look into echo-e cartos (they hold about 3ml of liquid) they are awesome bottom coil cartos.

Flavor is important! I'm thinking cartos too now the more I look. I've been testing a bunch of juices I received and have realized something. Until I pick some favorite juices I need soooooo many attys to give me the right impression on juices! I've been seeing the boge mentioned a lot. Hmmm decisions.....

Sorry about that, didn't read the fine print. Hopefully it's alright on a Riva, because I already ordered some.
Are any of your tank attys LR? I know Boge are supposed to be really good, but aside from that consideration, I assumed a LR atty would hit like a LR atty, whether it's tank or carto fed. Is there something else about the cartos that makes them work better? Maybe they feed more juice or something?
I've been very happy with the whole LR/tank thing. If cartos are even better, I can't wait to give them a try.
Well I wound up buying drip tips, lr attys, regular attys, and ce2 clearomizers. If I hate what I bought I'll try cartos and tanks next. Thanks for the info!

A lot of us spent outrageous amounts of money trying different things when we started (or even STILL 
) But you're on the right track, and eventually, some combination of hardware/juice will "click" for you and you can relax. TBH, some of us don't have just one combination that "clicks". I've wound up with a good bottom feeder, a mod I made from some Radioshack parts, a Screwdriver, an Ego (with and without tanks), and a Smokefree. I switch around between all of them. It's an adventure, albeit a tasty one

Don't blame you a bit, in fact, I doubt I'd really appreciate the bottom feeder fully, if I hadn't used all the others first. Keep us posted on how it's going
