Hi all

i stop smoking tobacco since Saturday just gone so only 4 days.

i have been using called "10 motives" but I have notice a different kind that one can actually add the nicotine .

now that where my-question Comes in as I am getting very confused in which product to buy also cost

They seem to range about £24 for a starter kit . The ones where one can add the nicotine

But I got ". Motives" with 5 nicotine refills , charger £19.

Also wondering can anyone tell me please what's the difference is it only the taste, that we can add nicotine with a flavour we like ?

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. It looks like the 10 motives sells pre-filled cartomizers, so maybe you are asking about the types of ecigs where you fill your own cartomizer or clearomizer? If so, there are tons of options. Even with the ones you are using you might be able to get blank cartomizers and fill them yourself. Maybe someone will know what type of threading they have. If they are 510 threaded there are many options you can choose.

Are you wanting to stay with something cigarette sized, or would you be willing to try something a little larger?

Thanks for replaying . yes that is what I mean " where you fill your own cartomizer or clearomizer "

Little larger and that it does not look like a cigarette .

The thread type is what connects the battery to the juice attachment.

There are three main types:

  • 808 (some cigarette-size batteries)
  • 510 (some cigarette-size batteries and nearly all of the larger "mods" which use replaceable batteries)
  • Ego (these are the cigar-size batteries; ego batteries can also accept 510 threads as they are designed to accept both)

The threads are the connection points where you screw the battery and atomizer/ cartomizer or whatever you're using together. Some devices have a different style of threads, so if you have a battery with 510 threads you need to make sure what you buy to screw onto it has 510 threads or they won't go together. 510 threading is the most common these days.

Thanks so much for those links . Shall have read now .

You're welcome. What does the "thread" mean when it says - 510 thread?

510 is the most common threading- easy to find. Many PVs come with both 510 and eGo threading:

What size of an Ecig were you thinking of buying?

hello mmaggie,

not sure what you ask, I think this is close

-a better starter kit from your small one
-and nicotine levels available in e-juices...

I think you mean you are using CARTomizers and would like CLEARomizers

basic choices I see increase in 6mg levels (6-12-18-24)mg
- E-Liquids : Vape Escape

then a tried and true vape kit
- EVOD 650 : Vape Escape

good luck and nice to have you in here at ECF :toast:

Yes these are "eGo style" PVs. Generally the smallest is 650 mah. About the size of a sharpie pen. The ones I linked to are known as "Mini eGo"/ 400 mah and are smaller.
Here's a review to give you an idea of the size.

For your 10Motives you can buy blank 510 cartomizers and fill them with the juice of your choice (buy it by the bottle).

Just went to the UK forum of this site read that we have a shop in camdom town .
Gosh its a ripe off in price so expensive compared to ones I have seen on the Internet .
Yes B&Ms are always expensive as there's more overhead and, generally, more time spent with customers. Some Vendors will allow you to buy on their website and pickup at their B&M. A HUGE advantage of a B&M is they usually allow customers to sample juices for free before buying.

If you decide to go with the blank cartomizers, be sure to read up on how to fill them properly. You have to get them good and soaked on the first fill, or you will get burnt dry hits.

I think I'd actually recommend you check out a vape shop close by (I think you said you found one). Try a bigger battery and some sort of clearomizer. If you get an ego style battery you will be able to try both clearos and cartos, so you will be able to see which suits you better.
