I know everyone's taste buds are different and everyone's preference for flavors are different. I was just wondering what flavor company (TFA, Flavor Art, etc...) you wonderful people of ECF prefer using. I was going to use this as a basis for my next flavor order. I currently use mostly lorann, but I'm kind of getting tired of coloring.

Hi Mike. Personally I can't say one has an advantage over another as they all have their strengths. I mainly use tfa, fa, and capella.

If you're interested in Flavor Art I would highly suggest reading this amazing thread from beginning to end :
Pure Vapes has 3ml FlavourArt flavorings

TFA has a large thread in ECF : The Flavor Apprentice Flavoring Thread There are recipes and more links found here as well.

I started using clone recipes in my beginning DIY. You might google "e-liquid-recipes" for the website to find thousands of recipes using all different manufacturers of flavorings. There is a search box in the upper left of that site where you can input a flavor and search.

my second favorite, it's in english too
Le DIY pour les Nuls - Recettes DIY - Trucs et Astuces.

Reddit...read the sidebar on right for more specific vendor info.
Mega TFA / TPA Recipe Thread • /r/DIY_eJuice (TFA/TPA)
Solid list of DIY clones! • /r/DIY_eJuice
hic • /r/cerealkillaclone (FA)

Good luck in your journey.

Each blender has several flavors that they excel with. If you want to purchase the best Toffee as an example, LorAnn is reportedly one of, if not the best. May I suggest you would be better off to started a new post and listing the flavors your considering purchasing and asking our opinions on which flavors we consider the best.
To say it another way, there is no one blender that has all the "best" flavors.

I use wizard labs as well but most of my flavors are TFA. I like some lorann but do not like the fact that they don't offer diketone free versions of their flavors. TFA identifies these diketone free flavors as DK so I have better control over what im vaping and their flavors are really good as well IMHO

On bull city you can sort by manufacturer and sort by bestsellers. This gives a pretty decent idea of what is good/popular. Not a perfect indicator you will like it but better than just guessing.

I like stuff by most of the flavor vendors. Sticking with one vendor is pretty limiting. Each have their bright spots. Sadly it is trial and error. I honestly couldn't pick only one. What you are trying to mix would be helpful.

TFA. I like their flavors. Trusted, and I've had good customer service experience w them.
Got some Toffee on the way that I'm looking forward to trying out this week. :)

Hmmm,
A little Toffee,
A little Toasted Almond,
A little Milk Chocolate and a spot of Dark.

MmmmHmmmm :)

I have a few flavors from other companies, but they're not in the rotation enough to really comment on. TFA's my staple.

I use a lot of TFA for supporting flavors... their Sweetener is the best I've tried; their Vanilla Swirl is A-MAY-ZING (it's the diketone-free version of their Vanilla Custard); their DX Bavarian is great for a richer note without diketones -- mixed with the Vanilla Swirl, it makes a real custard flavor.

Also, I find their Blueberry Extra a very authentic blueberry flavor, but it's very aggravating to work with; if you use too much, the flavor kinda disappears; I haven't yet found *just* the right percentage for it, but I think maybe about 8%-ish. TFA's Cherry Extract is by far the best cherry I've tried; not too sweet, not too tart, not medicinal nor maraschino-ish -- it's the Goldilocks of cherry flavors.

For a real cream flavor, I use Capella's Sweet Cream -- which is diketone-free, but so authentic, I also use it in food! It's a miracle in a low-fat diet!

Most of the other flavors that I use and like a lot are from Inawera. Their Shisha Strawberry is the basis of my ADV for the last 13 months, but I don't let the usual "you don't need much" guideline constrain me; I use it at about 15%-16%. If you like sweet fresh strawberries, it's absolutely delicious.

INW's Coffee Tobacco is a really interesting flavor; it's not sweet at all, and truly tastes like both black coffee, and tobacco. I use it in a mix I call "Smocha," with INW's Cappucino and Virginia Tobacco Absolute. That's a recipe I plan to tinker with a bit more; I also add chocolate, and have used TFA Dbl-choc Clear and Milk Choc, but I got some Molinberry Glamour Chocolate I plan to try in place of those. I also got some of INW's Dirty Neutral Base, and I thought I would try that, in place of the VA TA. I've heard that if you want a real tobacco vape, the DNB is great to add for authenticity.

Another INW I got as a sample and plan to try is the Lemon Cake. I'm told it tastes like lemon pound cake, which i like a lot. I might try using a bit of it with some of the TFA Blueberry Extra, to try and get to a "blueberry muffin" kind of flavor. INW's Biscuit flavor is good for a cake/pastry/cookie kind of taste, but VERY strong; it easily overpowers most fruit flavors, even at 1% -- I'm thinking it ought to be pre-mixed at 10%, and then use that premix at 1%!

Hope any of that may be helpful in your quest...

Andria

I hear what you guys are saying...I guess I should have narrowed it down, but you guys have given me a basis....My wife and I like fruity flavors and I want to delve into making some bakery or dessert type flavors, but wasn't sure on which company makes the best for these...I know this is still broad and covers a lot of flavors but I didn't want to just pick one and not be happy with it and then be stuck...I wanted to let the masses speak for they speak louder than one.

If at all possible I like to try the same/similar flavor from more than one brand. When I've done that different companies have been way better or worse for different flavors. I can usually use the leftovers of the ones I didn't like as well in recipes where they aren't the main flavor. I've ended up mostly with Inawera, Flavour Art and Natures Flavors.

When you try the lemon cake you'll have to let me know how you like it. That flavor sounds good. :D

I think someone else touched on this but - when mixing or selecting flavors for a recipe - I tend to meld several of the same type of flavor. Say a Banana recipe I make for hubs - I use Bananas Foster, Ripe Banana and Banana Cream. I consider this as ONE ingredient to the whole mix. To me - this gives depth to you final recipe. Don't be scared to add more than one strawberry/blueberry/etc flavor together.

If I want the whole of the banana flavor to be 11% then I decide how much of each of the 3 flavors I want to add to make up that 11%.
Ripe Banana - 2%
Bananas Foster - 3%
Banana Cream - 6%

Then I might add in my:
Vanilla Swirl - 2%
Sweet Cream - 2%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 1%
