Anything I should know prior to purchasing it? Are they good and reliable? I've read quite a few posts regarding 510 connection problems. Specifically with the pin getting pushed down. How likely is this to happen? Or is this generally caused by people screwing on their carto's too tight?
also, my only choices are chrome or black chrome. Do either of these two finishes where better? I've read stainless steel is best but that isn't an option for me right now.
my backup choice would be an itaste MVP V2 but I'm more interested in getting into a mod that has removable batteries. I also like the fact that the Vamo has higher amps and voltage.
thanks for any advice you can offer

I've had my chrome V1 for 10 months. I don't use it every day but the chrome has worn off below the fire button which you can kind of see in the pic. From what I hear the gun metal wears and scratches really fast. You can always get a wrap for it. Zero problems with the center pin and threads. The best bang for the buck in APVs IMO. YMMV.

PS. Fasttech has a great price on the SS unless you're in a rush or feel you have to buy from a US vendor:

I'd get a V3 or V5, but not a V2. The V3+ has a better LED screen, wider well and other advantages.

Only difference between a V3 and V5 is that the V5 has a smooth body like the V2, whereas the V3 has swirls.

And don't know why you are limited to black or chrome... FastTech has SS too. I've had my SS V3 Vamo about a month and could not be happier with it. No wear on the finish, works perfectly, and is an absolute delight to vape with. Got it from FastTech for $37.... bought the charger and batts stateside.

Skenzer, If you haven't purchased one yet, check out the prices at Zainy Electronic Cigarettes - Zainy - Electronic Cigarettes

I have no idea of what the shipping would be, or the integrity of the vendor, but you just can't beat the prices they have on the Vamos

Wabbit

The V3 is $29.99 "on sale" + $6.40 shipping = $36.39 ... a few pennies more than FastTech's $36.31 with free shipping. Zainy is also a Chinese company though the website is in the US and in the checkout procedure there is the box to enter zip to check for taxes. No such box at FastTech. :D
