I am having a problem with the new Magma V2 rda throwing out this error and I have made several coils same problem. Currently I have a 1.5mm SS 316L coil at 0.18 dual coil locked in on my cuboid and it is throwing the short error. It is a brand new coil I just put on and the minute I hit the power button short came up. The coils are NOT touching the inside of the Atty obviously with that small diameter build. The screws are tightened down and catching the leads because they do not move. All leads have been wiggled off flush at the posts. The only thing I can think of is the usual insulator around the 510 is junk and shorted there? No extras come with this Atty and I am not sure if that is an adjusting 510 that can be removed? I have tried to unscrew it and it will not budge. I am thinking this Atty is ready for the trash and I just got it 3-4 days ago.

I honestly think this is a problem related to the cuboid. I have the same problem with mine. I ran into it a couple of weeks ago. I was building on my zephyrus v2, using my cuboid for the first time on brand new coil builds. Everytime I would go to fire them after checking the resistance on my ohm reader, it kept saying atomizer short. I figured I messed up with my leads somehow, so just rebuilt it. Same thing happened after two other attempts. It was frustrating the hell out of me, because I've built my zephyrus a bunch of times with no issues. I then decided to try firing the coils on my ipv5. Like magic, they started glowing and firing perfectly. It baffled me. So I then decided to google "cuboid atomizer short", and I found a whole thread on the topic on a different forum. Lots of other people were having the same problem on their cuboid. And these weren't all inexperienced builders.

So now I just don't build on my cuboid. Funny thing is, after getting my coils firing evenly and then getting them wicked, they will fire on the cuboid just fine. It makes no sense. I'm glad I have other mods than just the cuboid, or I would of probably thrown it through a wall.

I am going to go thru that thread and see what is going on I am not an in experienced builder either.

I have had my cuboid for 4 months and loved it. Notice the past tense? a few days ago I was getting higher resistance reading and then came the short error. 5 different attys all say short. no problems on my segelli just the cuboid. I Emailed joyetech and have not gotten a response. Does any body know if they are standing behind their product? I have seen alot of posts with the same issue.
