Constant problems from ProVape's ego adapter!

I purchased an ego adapter a few months ago and nothing will screw into it because of the gold pin inside the connector, no matter how I adjust it nothing will screw in correctly and stops half way down when trying to screw something on to it. I purchased another one last week and that one does the same thing as well. Customer service has been of no help, I really think they need to redesign this, it just isn't working well at all.

Anyone else have issues with their ego adapters?

I tried that thread you posted, I have no "slit" in my center pin to screw anything, it is solid on both bottoms of the pin...nothing to screw.
