Well I gotta hand it to all the vape Merchants out there who are just laying down to the FDA regarding their Constitutional Rights, by allowing them to "restrict" their speech to state that vaping saves lives.

After watching a VCCLive‬ Ep. 9 - 8.8.16, A Billion Lives North American premiere & More, hosted by VapingCC, i just had to post a comment;

Has anyone ever heard of the 1st Amendment? Freedom of Speech! So, what I am hearing is you are going to let the FDA RESTRICT YOUR RIGHTS! I would fight, fight, fight this!

Consumers certainly can continue to tell their story, and are encouraged to do so.

Noooooooo, consumer or merchant, you have rights as a citizen under the Constitution. Government agencies can't abolish or restrict you from those rights. If you give in, then whats next? You're fighting to save vaping but giving up your rights as an American. WTF man, FIGHT for your rights!

+E911Eagle the government can restrict the free speech of businesses regarding public health (see restrictions on cigarette advertising). While I understand your argument, you have to recognize that vapor products are now considered tobacco, whether you agree or not. Unless and until we change that either via litigation or legislation, that's the way it is.

This to me is just unbelievable and I for one would not stand, or lie down, to allow this to continue!

I guess we need to change the US of A to the USSR, "United States Soviet Republic," and fall in line!

I remember posting here some time after the comment period for the deeming
reg's was over that we are all just tobacco users now. I meant it literally.
No one I believe took me seriously. I asserted many times the FDA can and will
do what they are doing because we are not vapers anymore. In the eyes of
the law we are tobacco users. Regretfully +E911Eagle is correct.

We all have to realize that we have been disenfranchised. In the eyes of
our opponents, the law and, the courts we are tobacco users and will be
treated as such. Every one knows tobacco is bad for you, right?;)

E911Eagle, over the last century, so many of our constitutional rights have been abridged judicially that I fear the Constitution has become but a hollow shell.

CAW! Salutations from across the Realms to my realm traveling brethren! What follows is a copy and paste from a FB post. Thank you for this thread and if this editorial is not in the right thread or area my apologies! *pax* ♥ & CAW!

" "It Could Be you!" (A Personal Editorial)

What has happened to "equal treatment under the law" and Constitutional rights in America? I think they are being regulated out of existence by of all people...the federal government!

I am talking about the vaping industry. The FDA has taken away the first amendment rights of all vape business owners! Starting on August 8, 2016, they can't tell their own costumers about the products they offer. They cannot assist them with any instructions. They cannot replace parts or repair any products. They cannot advise on the safe use of the very products they sell!

Can you imagine going to buy a new chainsaw and the store owner, or counter help, not being able to say anything at all about it? They can't say what size chain it takes. They can't tell you if it runs on unleaded, diesel, or a mixture! They can't open the box the tool is in, show it to you, or assist you in any way or answer any questions. If the chain falls off, before you walk out the door, they cannot, by law, put it back on for you or tell you how to. If it ever breaks or needs service you have to do it yourself.

Due to Government regulation this is what has happened to business owners in the Vaping industry.

You skeptics, and cynics, reading this, are probably thinking, "What do I care I don't vape!". So when the Constitutional rights of vapers are being violated, and nothing is done about it, it only insures more regulation and the violation of other's Constitutional rights in the future.

Do you like or own firearms? Do you own and/or operate a business and think you should have the right to help customers with deciding on a purchase, making a purchase, and the proper and safe use of that product? Are you a consumer who feels these things are normal, expected and needed? We all believe strongly in the right to have freedom of speech and freedom in the choices we make.

What would you do if, all of a sudden, you were forbidden to do these things by government regulation?

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

-Martin Niemöller

If vapers, non-vapers, smokers, concerned individuals, and lovers of Freedom, who believe in the Constitutional rights of all American citizens, don't get concerned over the loss of these rights to some....then who knows who will be next?

It could be you! "

There are none so blind as those who will not see.
--That one dude

The government is stripping away our rights little by little.
That road is already well traveled.

What they are doing more and more is attempting to redefine reality.

Sometimes I wonder if George Orwell was a bit short-sighted.
Maybe Aldous Huxley saw things more clearly.

The lawsuits challenging FDA's deeming regulation argue that it violates the 1st Amendment (as well as the APA and other federal laws).

I highly recommend A Billion Lives to everyone (but for disclosure, I'm extensively interviewed in the film)

I'll certainly watch it..............if and when I can. I learned a lot about fracking from a documentary before the media ever mentioned it. Problem is that I am an oddball among the general public and I bet that 99% of the general public would rather watch "reality" cough cough TV than a documentary.
