Setup a side company that sells batteries. Then use that companies info to linkback to your cart for E-Cig sales.
Here's an interesting wrinkle in the whole e-cig kartuffle. We received this from the Merchant service account we've been trying to set up in order to offer folks and alternative to PayPal:

"Denial of application is based on the following:
Based on the Federal Government's classification of the device as a "drug delivery system" this would be prohibited. The FDA is currently considering e-cigarettes as "drug delivery devices" and has halted 17 shipments from coming into the country since March 1st. Currently MasterCard is not willing to give us a variance on accepting this type of merchant until the Federal Government will lift their restrictions on this product, at that time we can resubmit the application for further review."

Where this is going or how it will shake out eventually I have no idea - but in all my life I have never encountered as many problems trying to do what I consider a "good thing" as I have with personal vaporizers or whatever the community can call them to get some of the smear off this product.

We'll keep selling and keep on looking for a logical alternative to Paypal, but I thought I'd pass this on to illustrate HOW many areas there seem to be restrictions to purchase PVs.

libertarians are too far outside my beliefs. limited government, not no government. ron paul is a RINO (Republican in Name Only). it's a shame the republican party has forgotten what it is supposed to stand for. if the next ronald reagan is a libertarian, though, i guess i will have to get behind him. but believe me, my hand will be shaking when i pull that lever.

You mean when you tap the touch screen? LOL :D

I see this old thread turned into a political rant-fest. :)

Just as an FYI, it isn't e-cigs that the merchant processors are targeting, it is the anything '18 or above' liability.

Anything sold on the web that requires '18 or above' restrictions is an automatic trigger for MC/Visa as it is impossible to prove age when online ordering. Be it smokes, booze, pron, etc...

This happened to a cigar company who is a client of mine. It cost them almost $100,000 in legal fees to keep their online store.

Well I called Mastercard about my card being declined. And the fact that they locked me out of where I could view my charges. The person said that it was done as a safety measure, they suspected that my card was being used by an unauthorized person.
I can respect that, but suspecting unauthorized use because I wanted to buy some ammo for my legal guns?

I cancelled my visa card a month ago because they charged me a $40 late charge because I had made a payment before the billing cycle ended, meaning that my payment was made during the previous billing cycle. And they wouldn't take it off.
Is there a credit card company out there who won't stick their nose in my private business or make decisions for me about my spending habits? I'm just fed up.

if mc isnt accepting because of the "drug delivery device" then why will they take payments at grasscity, blazedup, and other sites that say right on their home page "you can buy glass pipe, a variety of glass bubblers, and classic metal marijuana pipes from our online head shops. We have the original proto pipe, sneak a tokes, and cigarette one hitters. Our hand blown glass pipes are made of heavy duty hand blown glass. We also carry herb grinders, hemp rolling papers or blunt wraps, and stealth digital scales." Not to mention all the convenience stores that sell rolling papers, those new flavored cigar wrappers (used as rolling papers), crack pipes and such? All these places take mc.
what are they going to claim they didn't know what these places sell? and these are illegal drug delivery devices! i just dont get it.

They think we don't notice things like this...I call it the "partner" stare at my job....You catch them on something like this and they just look at you like a dog stares into space turning his head back and forth.

.... PIPEs...OK
ASSAULT WEAPONS...OK
ADDED TOXINS in CIGARETTES for FLAVOR...OK
MERCURY in our FISH...OK
LEAD in our BABY BIBS....OK
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES...eh...not so much!

This reminds me that I have gotten complacent in my contacting people endeavor. We need to keep the list of things to do and people to contact handy and do it over and over again. We cant just roll over and take it. We aren't doing something "naughty" we are good people trying to QUIT SMOKING or find a better alternative so we can LIVE.
Its nuts that we have to fight for this. Such true words- why is it so hard to get people to get it in their stupid heads that we aren't deviants? Its starting to make me feel like I am using crack and belong in jail. Its crap.

Its nothing to do with you or the ecig, its about the money, the big company that we call government knows who is paying the bills, it could be a big slap in the wallet if the ecig grows out of control. once they have control, then all will be well again :) big brother just needs to make sure the check is in the mail first.
O-and dont think the big tobacco companys knows that the ecig works or not. they see the light but they have to figure out a way to stop china from selling to any tom,**** and harry and start selling to them first.

Oh, that crazy woman that would have the church control us instead of the gov't? Pass.

Hey she's pro gun! I wouldn't be having a prob with ammo by mastercard. I called them and they said they froze my account cause of the attempted purchases of ammo.
I don't know if I believe that one.

i just wanted to say that i have owned a vaporizer for just over 3 years now .. (Vapezilla Classic) a couple weeks ago out of curiosity i decided to try an experiment with it. instead of putting my normal substance into the whip ( a sort of I shaped piece of glass that one end plugs into a hose the other the machine when you are using it ) i put the stuffing from 3 carts in there and dripped into it and surely enough it worked just fine. however i did discover that it does not and should not be used with such a high heat as my normal substance that i use it in so i just tuned it down to a low temp and BINGO i was in business. the hose is a lot wider then an e-cig but it would work if i was forced to do it. i dont see vaporizers illegal... but they just never caught on because of the high prices they cost. ( up to $500+ ) this has brought it all into focus now THE DIRTY LITTLE SECRET THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW. YOU CAN VAPE INSTEAD OF SMOKING AND DONT HAVE TO DIE. ( or at very least will live a hell of a lot longer. ) strangely enough... those kinds of vaporizers arent illegal because they have the possibility to be used with anything you want to vape. ( the list of herbs is endless. ) it is the act of the user adding something to the machine that is illegal that breaks the law. ( same idea with a .... or a crack pipe ( with a small plastic rose in it ) you could buy in just about any convenience store .. i really see no difference here IF there is always the possibility you could use the thing with 0mg juice. ( no nicotine ) its just BIG BROTHER once again telling us what we can and cannot do... but this time to the degree where they arent going to let the user be the one who breaks the law. now you have to $TOP and ask yourself wtf is that ??? is this more dangerous a device then the cigarettes themselves ? NO. are the cigarettes allowed ? YES.

ps - not too mention all the trash and litter it will save our streets !!!!!!!
