Except for the excessive repetition, it's a good article and sounds perfectly reasonable. I wish it talked a bit more about how new ideas are often dismissed by the scientific community at large, though. That's a real problem in every discipline, every aspect of science, and I've read several articles about how long things can take to change when those challenges are made, even though that is the essence of scientific method. The problem is people and politics. People are often more concerned with tenure and status than the truth since new ideas can, as the article states, ruin careers. This cannot be overemphasized as a major hurdle in the e-cig battles. Too many people rely on things not changing for progress to be made effectively and quickly.
