My Family... Each entrant posts a brief story about how famous someone they are related to is and how much it has affected their life. Relatives can be real relations or made up relations. Point is to have a silly story of how you ARE affected or how you WOULD BE affected by their fame.

Example: I am related to Prince Charles and now everywhere I go people ask me how Camilla Parker Bowles is? I tell them I don't know, every time I go to the palace for dinner she is eating outside by the shed!...

Winner is selected by a random number generator.

The places you shouldn't be, or things you shouldn't, do while vaping contest

Have people list the places and situations in which vaping actually might not be that great of an idea. There wont be a ton of course though, so would likely have to limit it to 1-3 per person.

Would possibly have the added benefit of helping some folks remember what vaping obsessively (like some of us do) and largely without thought, might lead to in some situations. Like "wow, I never thought of that - probably a good idea to put it in my pocket when..." type thoughts might be created; meaning it could simultaneously increase the Vaping Etiquette of the participants.

I am slightly opposed to the "most likes" idea, as they tend to just turn into a popularity contest. I have seen many horrible posts win the prize (based on relevance to the contest subject) due to member popularity.

a pic of an actor/musician as a child and make people try to guess who it is

Battleship type game where you pick a square on the grid and the contest runs until all squares are taken, then pick a winner (or a cut off date in case there is not as much traffic as you would have imagined)

"Biggest cloud of vapor" photo contest - users taking pics of the biggest vapor cloud they can muster (maybe with a rule like "please include a penny in the pic for size reference")

A Where's Volt game where you hide a volt (or pcc) in an image and people have to find it

Some great ideas here, but you should have split them up into separate entries...

Part of the point of that post was to show how trival the "likes" thing can be...it has 9 likes so far...but were they for a contest idea or the expression of invalidation of the likes theory?

To Imagine : let me know if you want me to seperate them to get a better idea of the popularity  of the single ideas, I will gladly do so...oh, and thanks for all the fun in the contests you have held...I haven't won a thing except for a big bag of fun! (I loved the poem contest...really brought out the creativity and I laughed for hours at some of the entries!)

I don't know if this was already mentioned. If it was I apologize but did not see it. A treasure hunt related to your web site. You could come up with numerous questions related to your products on your website. The contestants would have to check out your website in order to answer your questions. In the meantime, they would also gain knowledge about your products.

You could make it hard or ? The whole point of the contest would be traffic to your website. The first person who can correctly answer your questions would win whatever specified. I personally would make it hard because it would give everyone a chance to play. You could also make a twist to the contest by stating the first person at post 40, 60 or 100 will win the prize. I think you understand the jest of the contest idea. (The whole idea would be focused on traffic to your website.)

#2 a FUN one would be to do the "change just one word in this sentence" type of running game ...come up with a general statement & just let it run ... they play this in one of the forum areas & it's always funny to read what folks come up with ...
and I would guess to pick winners you could go by
"likes" or specific #'s ie: 20 40 60 or just run the random # thingy
