I may drive southwest about 100 miles and enjoy one of the beaches down that way. There are three beaches in a big town near the Gulf Coast of Louisiana. I could go all the way to the Coast, but these are Lake beaches.

I'm glad Spring is here because the flowering trees and bushes are blooming. Funny how you can forget how beautiful they can be. The Magnolia trees won't be too far behind.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will be starting up soon. I used to love going when I lived there. Haven't been in about 20 years. That would make a great road trip.
