I am very happy that spring is here because I am done with the ice storms. Three in the last month! There is finally a little warmth in the air! Woohoo!

1. I'm happy spring is almost here because I am sick of winter. I hate being cold and this winter, especially this past month has been really cold. It's been 30+ degrees colder here the past couple of weeks than it is normally. Record lows many days, the past couple of weeks, with ice and snow. It's finally warming up this week, but raining. I'll take rain over snow and ice though!

I am happy that spring is here so I can polish my toenails. There just isn't much use putting color on them when I can't see them all winter long (because of the socks and shoes!!!!!) =)

Spring in south Florida means tarpon fishing. I hope to fight a few on a 10wt fly rod. Just to get one on and jump it is a great thrill. Oh, I strongly believe in catch and release of these.

I'm glad spring is here. I can't afford to pay this electric bill much longer. Ohio has had some really cold winters, and I better not hear anyone complain it's to hot lol

Spring is a great time to be in south Florida. Yes, it is that time of year when the snowbirds start their migration back to Canada and parts north.

Along with spring weather March means collegiate basketball tournament season.
This year is particularly great as my UK Wildcats are currently undefeated at 31-0 and poised for a run at an unprecedented 40-0 season.

The aforementioned NCAA Basketball Tournament has a lull in action from Monday through Wednesday. As luck would have it the tournament coincides with the shift to warmer weather which pushes the morel mushrooms up from the ground around these parts. Scouring the woods in search of the elusive dry land fish is the perfect counterbalance to the nervous excitement of following the fortunes of my CATS. Mmmm...........mushrooms.
