That sucks... It is a nasty one to get out...I screw the base into the ss top cap from a 19b, insert a modified center punch into the top of the pin and use a hydraulic press... even then 2 of the 3 made a loud snap coming out... I'll give it to Ehpro, their tolerances are tight, lol

For those who prefer pulling the pin and slotting it...

blech. slap me upside the head for my idiotic question.

what i meant to ask is there an advantage to trying to mod press-fitted RDAs versus threaded ones, for example?

i would like to make some of my cheapo drippers into bottom-feeders, but being more or less one-handed, i have no clue how i can get press-fitted pins out, although i might stand a chance with threaded.

Nice work...I used to think that tiny squonk holes are fine but if you can go big do it...power squonking is really the way to go...I've had my cursor hovering over a Helios a few times...It looks like the center post is hollow? Or is that just the pic?

I drilled it with 1/16th bit all the way up to were the 2 holes meet it wasn't hollow when I started :)
also there is a brass plug in the bottom end of the pin it started to spin when I was drilling I pulled it out and finished the hole and then pressed it back in and held it in place with my finger nail to drill the rest of the way thru the brass end plug
like I said it wasn't easy :)

Would a nimbus v3 clone work? Looks pretty strait forward.
Nimbus V3 RDA (Clone) - Viper Vape Inc

Piece of cake...I've done 2 FT clones and an Ehpro...the FT's center pins started to spin while drilling (you can almost press them out with your fingers) so they were a bit of a pain, the Ehpro's are tight and solid...I drilled down through the pin then pressed it out for the cross hole...don't flame me on clones but I really have to say if you're going to get clones (that's all I get) try and get the Ehpro version, they really make one hell of a knock-off...the FT's are cheap if you're unsure you're gonna like it but if you decide you do, careful with it...you get what you pay for.

So what's the verdict? How's she squonk compared to say...an rm2 or cyclone? Over squonking easily? Does it pull excess back in? Info my friend info!
