I was standing outside a public building today, near a smoking area. I kept a little bit of distance since the smell of cigarette smoke really grosses me out now. I pulled out my PV and started vaping while I checked a couple messages on my phone. A guy that was in the smoking area with an analog came up to me and half-whispered, "Dude! Are you nuts?! You're using that in plain daylight!" I kind of gave him a puzzled look for a moment while I was processing what the heck he was talking about and right when it hit me that he thought I was using drugs, he took a closer look at it and said, "Oh <expletive>! I'm so sorry, I thought that was something else. Is that one of those e-cig things? Does it really work?"
I went on to laugh about the confusion and then explain what it is, how it works, where to get them, why they're a perfect alternative to traditional cigarettes, etc. He had a handful of questions about the transition, the cost, cheap gas station e-cigs, and other various things he was skeptical about. I told him about ECF and all our wonderful suppliers. He was totally intrigued by it all and said he couldn't wait to check it all out and that he's been trying to quit smoking but hasn't had any luck. Wonder if he's reading this right now. lol
Anyway, I thought it was pretty neat that I was able to regurgitate all the info I have learned from you guys and possibly bring another smoker into the wonderful world of our great smoking alternative.
