Converted best friend but need help with set up

I finally got my best friend to want to try vaping. She loves my 900mah Ego with CE4, but she has severe arthritis in her hands and the
Ego is not big enough around for her to comfortably hold on to. Provari is out of the question for right now, needs something simple like mine but bigger around. I am stumped and don't want her to give up, does anyone have any suggestions please?

I have arthritis in my hands as well and bigger is better for me. Either of the above mods will work for small out of pocket expense.

Vision Spinner VV 1300mAh comes to mind. The end cap voltage setting shouldn't move too easily, and the battery is of the thicker sort. And affordable.

The fat batts are great for people with arthritis or who, like me, are simply naturally clumsy. I've had a Volt X2 slip out of my hand, but the Vision never has.

Automatic might be superior to manual in this case as well, she won't have to push a button that could be anything from difficult to impossible depending on her hands.

Here is a pick of a pretty good fat boy PV with my cord braid around it for grip. LOL I believe its called whipping. LOL I'm one of the clumsy ones.

It does help. Also makes it harder to lose in your pocket. lOL

Ok, this is what I have heard from her so far, no VV, doesn't have to be tall just bigger around for better grip. Showed her the Gripper----that was a big NO! Also taking off caps and removing and replacing internal batteries would be difficult. So I guess I'm back to step 1.

smok telescope is surprisingly small even with an 18650. it also fits any 18*** battery too with its adjustable threads making the device smaller if you use smaller batteries. gives a solid throat hit and good vapor with a lr carto or atty. its not a vv. im not sure how youre friend would feel about the fire button on the bottom though and unfortunately im out of ideas, your friend is real picky

I don't think picky is the issue, if she can't use it due to arthritic hands it will do her no good. Just trying to do my best to help a good friend who wants to stop smoking real bad.

Silver Bullet. They're huge. I just measured mine and it is over an inch thick which is HUGE, but it is extremely comfortable to hold. Plus they are damn near impossible to break and will last forever. They are standard 3.7v but if she should decide to down the road she can buy a Kick and make it Variable Wattage.

Starzz, I have bad arthritis in my hands also, and I think your friend would like the Vari-Stak (iVape Electronic Cigarettes, Personal Vaporizers, E-cigarette Kits, E-liquids, Juices, Mods and accessories - all of your vaping needs shop online or at our location in Longs SC). That mod is large enough, light enough, easy to hold and feels great in the hand because it isn't smooth or cold because you aren't touching metal when you use it. Ivape has it for $29, not including batteries, and it comes in several colors. If you decide to get that, ask them if you need the smooth top batteries or the ones with the bump on top because some of these mods were made for one type, some for the other. It does use 2 stacked batteries, which isn't the best design I understand, but it's perfect for anyone with serious arthritis. My son has quite a collection of different PVs including Provari and the wooden box type, but none are as comfortable for me to use with arthritis. Good luck to your friend and to you, of course.

My suggestion is the ego "e-power" it takes an 18650 battery but can be charged using a standard ego charger meaning that the battery could stay in the MOD. I am not sure if this is the case with all the e-power mods or not but it does work with mine. I have the one that is all one piece except the battery cap. I have seen some that come in pieces for the power switch and then the tube. Those might not be able to be charged the same way. I would ask the vendor prior to ordering if it can be charged with the ego charger. It is only about half an inch longer than an 18650, so it isn't real long, she might like that it isn't huge just thicker. Hopefully this might help.

I've never used one (or even seen one in person) but it looks like it would be comfy in the hand while still simple to work with. Steve also had a good idea about wrapping/whipping the battery to add some girth. Got to be a solution here.

Okay think we have narrowed it down finally to the E2 Apollo, and the Silver Bullet ! Its been a long day, now where to find such treasures. I think I will order which ever one she doesn't just in case. Cause I sure don't want to hear " I think I should have ordered the other one" LOL

I thought you said no mods with batteries that have to be replaced?

But, if you are considering mods with replaceable batteries, you might try the Telescope. It's just a cheap mod. But, what makes it easier to handle is that you don't have to fight to put the battery in. If you use 18500 batteries or smaller, there's enough extra length that you can put the end cap on while the body is more extended, then easily screw the body down shorter. It's just a lot easier on old hands.

Starzz, I have arthritic hands. One item that was suggested to me was a bella tank, never used one, but i think it was invented by a person with arthritis. Might wanna check it out for what to put on top of the batt once you decide on the batt.

I ended up going with a bottom feeder. That is easiest for me, I don't have to twiddle around screwing cartos, clearos, etc. onto a batt. As for getting the batts in and out, the the gals in vmod topic helped me by telling me to put electrical tape around them to create a "pull tab" and that has been so darn helpful! I'd go reo or vmod to be honest. I just screw in an atomizer, fill my bottle with juice, and the only work I have to do besides change the batt once a day is give the bottle a squeeze here and there.....but that can even be overcome using a tilt method.

Yes I did say originally that she didn't want separate batteries, but I tried an experiment. I put self sticking velcro around a end cap and had her try to unscrew it . Voila she could do it , due to extra grip of velcro. So now we are adding velcro to all her scrip bottle caps too, she is thrilled.
