I have a fairly easy time getting people to change over. My apartment is no-smoking and on the second floor. I live in Ohio so the weather is usually crap. If they wanna stink, they go downstairs, outside and have to be buzzed back in. I make em wait lol!

After they come in all cold wet or otherwise unhappy I just hand em an extra eGo with a Clearomizer, ask em to pick a flavor, let em sniff my bottles and by the end of a few visits after using the loaner they usually hate the smell/taste of cigs and ask for info on where to get the ecigs.

When I started, my mother was on disposables on occasion. When I hadn't touched an analog in a week of starting and she saw I didn't want to, she HAD to try hitting my EGO-T basic ecig with the CE4 on it.
She fell in love and jumped in head first. She now boasts running 7 twists/spinners and tanks for each. She hasn't touched an analog in almost a year.
I've helped at B&M shops to sell various kits if I'm in and it looks like a customer's opinion could be welcome, so those are countless too.
In July, I'll be flying with my boyfriend to GA to see his son, I fully intend to get his ex-wife to try mine to get her to stop smoking around the kids!

I've been trying to convert my father. Slowly getting there, but i think i scared him a bit when i showed him all my equipment and tackle box filled with stuff. He is going to be a hard sell as he buy his analogs from a Indian Reservation in bulk on the cheap. He recently agreed to atlest give it a shot once he runs out of cigarettes.

Unfortunately there's no sister in law to force him - and at 43, the more any of us try to pressure him, the more he'll resist. So, I just use my pv whenever he is around, and let him see how much I love vaping and keep my fingers crossed that he'll ask me for more info. I have juice and an extra battery tucked away for that day. And the two page email wasn't that bad!! :) It was broken down into disposables/cig-a-likes, then links to ECF and Baditude's beginner's blog, then the "Advanced section" where I explained what I use and about juice. And I told her to get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine first!

I probably should just do an email with links. When I started talking about carto vs atomizer I saw their eyes glaze over.

I have converted one, got another interested, and resurrected a struggling vaper. I show them my eRoll (the most convenient non disposable cigalike IMO) and then send them three links: one to ECF baditude info, one to a place to get an eRoll cheap with a coupon code, and a link to a low priced eLiquid vendor with lots of options.

I try to avoid information overload.

I've converted about 5 of my friends and 2 family members. It was pretty easy to get them to buy cheapo ego kits(from $35-$60) but getting them off analogs is a different story. One thing that's changed though is noone smokes outside of the house anymore; they just vape indoors. When they're out and about and/or drinking is another story all together.
