`Last week at work I was sent to help a few people setup for a program (I work in the school system). One guy kept saying that he wanted a cigarette. I got out a fresh battery and a fresh cartridge and said try this. He was skeptical and said "what this?" I explained and he had that look like "yeah right". He took one hit and you should have seen the look on his face. "That tastes great" Almost couldn't get it back from him. He called about 10 minutes ago and said he got his KR 808 yesterday and had been vaping ever since. Said he had only 1 cigarette since he got it. He was smoking 1 1/2 packs a day marlboro red pack. The 11 mg marlboro cart he tried was the same kind i took my first ehit with. Gets'em everytime.

At least you got your pv back! I guess I'm too much of a softy! As of Friday, I have no way to charge a batt, I have been vaping with only my wimpy little passthru , geesh! I've been completely without a charger all weekend because co-workers--yes, the same ones who rolled their eyes at me when I first showed up with my 510--decided that well maybe they wanted to try it out. Of course they loved it from the start and wanted to take them home overnight so like a dummy I loaned out 510s, juices, both usb chargers, and my pcc. one lady has had one of my 510s since last Thursday! I've ordered starter kits for them so I can get all my stuff back!! from now on I'm not loaning chargers, maybe they will give them back when the batteries run out!

Before I discovered these PV's, I was convinced that I would never quit smoking because I loved it so much. I really did consider myself the hardest case. So....if I never touched another cigarette since the moment I got my 901 and 510 (6 days ago), then I know beyond any doubt that many others can and will do the same. To me, that's soooo exciting! I will welcome any opportunity to show off this PV to others! :)

yes! I agree. I would have loved for someone to show me the ropes when I first started. But I eventually figured it out thanks to ECF. I am always happy to share when people show interest. but I have learned to wait until someone asks, some smokers are very defensive and threatened by anything that might come between them and the stinkies! I totally understand, I had anxiety about the imaginged agony of quitting, it cracks me up now because it was completely effortless once I got my pv.

I am with you in the education crusade. Whenever I am in a smoking section I just whip mine out and start puffing. I don't say a thing about it unless folks ask what it is. Then I slowly gage there interest and then go into my experience. I have stocked up on a few VKs so I can pass them on to those who are really interested. They get a hold of one and want to know where they can get more. One smoker at time.

My parents, who have been smokers for a good 15 years, visited me just last week. I had them try my 510 with a fresh RMV grape cart. My dad couldnt believe it...he's making his order this weekend for a 510 starter from RMV or Innovapor.
I even converted the Kiosk worker from smoking everywhere yesterday when i was walking in the mall. I asked if he had a case that fit my pv, he asked about the model and asked to take a hit, which i let him, and he said "wow, thats a ton of vapor...and that tastes awesome"
it took a good 5 minutes just to get my 510 back.

i wanna start selling these, i know so many smokers in my area that could really benefit from vaping. does anyone know of a wholesale site that sells 510's?

I do volunteer work at a local rehab facility (yes I once had a drug problem so I want to give something back nuff said there.) and 8 out of 10 patients smoke. I was using my ecig the other day then realized a lot of the guys in "Inpatient" therapy are jonesing for nicotine making their sudden withrdrawals even more difficult. I then decided to go check with the chief care counselor what the facilitys opinion on "e-cigs or the nicotine vaporizer" is and she was gave me permission to off the record let some of the patients try this method. There were a couple of young people (around my age 23) that I had become close too over there time in inpatient as they kept coming back, in fact one of them had been in this facility 3 times in the last year. But getting away from myself, I took him aside and asked him "Bill how long since you've had a smoke?" "Dude thats the worst thing about this place, I'd kill for a cigarette right now." at those words I busted out my vape and a fresh cartridge still in the plastic explained the concept installed the cart and let him take a few puff's and you should have seen the look of relief on his face! Now twice a day whenever I am volunteering at that perticular facility I make it a point to take him aside load up my spare vaporizer for him and we sit back and just vape andf shoot the bull for a while. I am considering writing a proposal for "loaner" ecigs for nicotine users when entering inpatient. As in this state smoking inside or on campus (except as designated smoke shacks) especially at a hospital (including rehab) is STRICTLY prohibited. Rehab is hard enough without jonesing for a smoke on top of everything else. Anyone agree?

Jeb--I think that is awesome. I have tried to quit smoking before and wanted to kill people so I can't imagine trying to get off drugs and having to quit smoking at the same time. They really should look into getting PVs for the patients who need them. The patch or gum works for replacing nicotine, but does nothing for all of the other things about smoking that make it so relaxing.

I never thought I'd be able to quit smoking. I told people I'd stop when they nailed the coffin shut. I even went outside in the cold and drizzle about an hour after they got me back to my room after a c-section to smoke. I haven't had a cig since the moment I got my first kit in the mail and it was easy. I'm not saying I didn't think about smoking a cigarette, but I thought about it and picked up my PV instead figuring I'd go get a cig later if I still wanted one. (I put all the smoking stuff in different parts of the house so I'd have to go get them) As much as I loved smoking, vaping is so much better, and there are so many fun flavors to try and ways to decorate the atty's and carts, and mods and.... cigarettes were never this much fun.
