Converting the Kanger Protank base to a Dripping Atty?

I read somewhere that it's possible to convert the Protank base with replacement head to a dripping atomizer (http://www.sun-vapers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/DSC_1329.jpg). I'm hoping this can be done without using the top glass part, but how?

Hopefully I can get some ideas from you modders, thanks!!!
