There seems to be a slight height variance in the T3S bases. Not the heads/coils, but the bases themselves. It's probably less than 1 millimeter but it's enough to cause a slight issue, at least on an eVic. The slightly taller bases require you to pull down the center pin on the heads in order for it to make contact with the eVic.

Not a big deal, but just an FYI. I assume this is just a minor machining issue, and the "fix" is easy enough to keep me from getting into a twist about it.

But there ya go.

Kanger has certainly found a novel way to dominate our vaporizer budget. I've always been vocal about the way these companies put out a high quality unit and then let the quality slip downhill as they get ready to release something new. But I'm still on board with these. And will probably "upgrade" as soon as the boards get flooded (pun) with leaky t3s issues. Mainly because they are good clearos.

But why oh why haven't they built the tips so we can use our own. It's the only thing that I will get fed up with. Couldn't use the pro tank because I can't stand metal between my teeth and these hard plastic ones are just awkward and taste funny.

Try the Vapeonly BCC... I have the same issue and the one on my avatar has a plastic driptip...

Maybe use this for the protank or iclear 30 with a metal drip tip

Discount vapers has the T3S bases as well as the coils and T3S/MT3S in stock at a great price. They also got the protank base in to all that were looking for them. My mailman told me I need a bigger mailbox :D

Thank you for the info about Discount vapers. I got a a super deal earlier this week at exhalevapors on 5 of the old MT3's for $15.25 shipped. I had already bought, 2 new MT3s's, 2 bases for my old MT3's and 2 - 5 packs of heads from Sun-Vapors last week and when I went back for the bases for the 5 mt3's I just ordered they were sold out. I have been searching for the bases all day and the few other places that carried them were sold out as well. I just put in my order for 5 bases an 2 more 5 packs of heads and it came to a little under $22.00 shipped. Again thank you very much for the info lynch. I used a discount coupon at exhale and got $1.64 off but I had to buy 5 to get the deal. I have noticed that vaporjoes coupon codes often work for the items they are listed for as well as others. For instance the code I used for the MT3's was supposed to be for the pro tank.

Anyone else having some weird problems developing with the new T3S bases/heads? I'm getting low juice flow even with 70/30 PG/VG juices, but only after using the heads a time or two. And sometimes they just....stop working. As if the atomizer has a short. But just taking the device off (be it mod or plain ol' eGo Twist) and screwing it back on fixes this for a few hits.

I've resorted to using the NEW T3S and MT3S bodies with some of the OLD bases I have accumulated. That's working fine. I'm getting a more satisfying draw this way, but with slightly less vapor and flavor than with the new T3S bases/coils (when they're working like they should).

A quandary.

That is strange. I have heard that some people have had to take a pair of pliers and slightly pull out the center pin. From what I am reading it is only a matter of a millimeter but it could be that your device is only barely connecting at the center post so when you do get a hit the atty may be at a half connected state. Try easing the center post out just a little bit with a pair of needle nose pliers and see if that helps. I had a bad adapter on my vamo that pushed my kanger t2 center posts in and I had to keep pulling them back out. Once I bought a new adapter I noticed the old adapter was at least 2mm longer in the center. The center post on the Kanger attys are not spring loaded like some CE4+ style clearos. Instead they are held into place by a rubber boot.

yeah, I was one of the people that was having to pull the center pin on the T3S coil heads. Someone else suggested I try that and it totally worked, for about a day. I can still do that, and if I take a hit or 3-4 right after that, all is well. But after a seemingly random number of drags, or a random amount of time, that connection is lost again.

oh well. this seems like something that Kanger can/SHOULD easily remedy....but we'll see about that. :p

I think the center pin issue might be exclusive to the eVic. But I could be wrong. I usually am.

I've already had this issue on my eGos unfortunately, but not near as bad your issues. Once I get it working it will work for good unless it comes unscrewed and I have to mess with it. I wonder if they changed the material of the boot? The center pin on my older evod heads feels a lot more stable in there than the new T3s heads which I can easily wiggle with my finger/thumb.

With that being said though, I have found that I enjoy using a T3s head with an evod top tube in my evods, T3's, and in my protank. That will be my combo from now on.

Not putting high hopes on that. Thing is, eVods work, why don't T3? I'm gonna stick to eVods, Vapeonly BCC and Protanks. I don't want to fiddle anymore with my vapes.

I hear you. I was set on buying a Segelei #19 (I think) until I started reading on all the work all the tinkerers were doing to get
the various mechanical Segeleis working well. I've got a China GG mech and it was cheap, and has zero issues. That's how I want things to work!

Obviously it's different if you go into something like a genesis atty or any RBA. You get it knowing you're going to be fiddling with wicks and wires and whatnot. That's part of the fun. But with these fully assembled doo-dads, I may be foolish, but I expect 'em to WORK. ;)

That goes for mods too.
