Hi folks

I just got back from a trip and I had packed my GGTS and Ody in my briefcase. I could swear i locked out the switch but evidently not.
My clear tank is cooked to the point of having melted and shrunk down to the fluid control tip. Its toast although everything else looks good.

My question is does anybody know if a UFS v2 clear tank is interchangeble? I see Bruce has them on the site but don't want to buy it and not have it fit

Thanks in advance for your help

Folks
Quite frankly I was genuinely moved by all the support and PM's. We have a wonderful community here.
I just heard from Bruce that Imeo is shipping the clear windows this week and lots of them so I can hold out for sure. I thank my friend in Mexico for selling me a spare. If it wasnt for him, I would be in rough shape! Gracias Hermano
I'll post pictures tonight but it's not a pretty sight. The Ody is bullet proof though, it just passed my test for sure

Hi folks. Been in week-long meetings. Killer stuff, glad to be home.

This is what a clear tank looks like when you forget to lock out the switch and run it full blast at 7.4v (2.9ohms) until the batteries run out. What surprising is there was no damage to the Ody at all other than cooking the o-rings and cracking the ceramic. Even more surprising is that for the heck of it, once I was able to get it apart, I put in fresh batteries on a whim and the coil actually fired. The juice burned off as did the wick yet the coil was still going. Now that blew my mind and speaks wonders
of the design and robustness of the GG product. If I sound like a fanboy forgive me but I'm thankful to any and all things that helped me break my 37 year addiction to cigarettes. Not analogs, I'm talking Marlboro Reds, Camel non-filters, pipes, cigars, chewing tobacco, snuff, Rollie's, ect ect. I think the word analog does not properly describe the true nasty ness of the carcinogenic garbage cigarettes truly are.

Here you can see that the plastic actually shrunk down to the juice control cap/stem. The o-rings were carbonized and the gg itself got so hot it actually "molded" itself onto the neoprene iPad cover it was pressing against.

I'm actually vaping on that Ody as I write this. Down to the short mode but better than no mode...

God Bless
