It's actually the opposite, and why I like coolcarts better; my batts last longer than with Premium / Wow cartos. V=IxR, V is fixed for LiIon at 3.7V. As R increases (coolcarts do have a higher resistance as previously measured and reported by Adrenalynn), I (current) decreases. Power, P=VxI, so with V=3.7V, lower I corresponds to lower power consumption with coolcarts. This is also why Premium / Wow cartos are hotter (more current draw = more power = more heat on atty = warmer vapor = more throat hit, etc). I don't care about throat hit, and think the vapor is fine with the coolcarts.

That is what I get for posting at 2am :) You are 100% correct, but like Sylvie said, the button might be being held down longer due to the cool carts.

I find that I do take longer, smoother drags on the coolcarts, thus holding the button down longer as suggested. I still find however that my batteries wear down much faster on the Premium carts especially on the shorty manuals I use at work. I always have two manuals with different carts on me at any given time; at work, they are two shorties; in commute and at home, two XL's. I go all day on this configuration with coolcarts, rarely get through the day w/o having to swap batts with Premium / Wow's (although I have like 14 batts, it's still annoying).
