This is one of those dynamo hand cranked flash lights. I don't know if it will work, but I just had the idea. Imagine all the analog smokers in places where there is no electricity to plug a charger in.

Rob, I have that flashlight and it's been sitting on my desk for almost 2 months with that thought in mind. Damn I wish I knew how to mod!
Hey Rob, I saw one of those already made. Knutselpter made it and it does work. He used the same one in your picture. I'll try to find the video.
The secnd one looks cool and compact. The first looks like one i dismantles once and have around somewhere. The better ones have greased metal cogs and are a lot quieter. The cheaper ones might require a bit more work as the dynamo coil has less turns, and are also a bit noisy as use plastic cogs.
Guesswork: 1 minute of fast winding for 1 cig equivalent vaping - if battery not flat.
I think the internals are 3v, but not certain.

That would probably work, but you would have to crank it while using it. I don't think it stores the electricity like the flashlight one does.
I was thinking of using it with an e-cig battery's USB charger cable.
Ah sodit, I ordered the thing. I can handle wasting $5 and change to find out for sure if it works.

I'm actually quite looking forward to getting the thing. Might come in handy for my next camping trip.
I think it would be great to know you will never be without a source of power.
You could build some add-ons for wind and stream.
And a steam turbine to convert camping gas to vaping power.

Seriously though, the gadget is itself a dynamo. So only need a propeller attachment and can use the wind or running stream to turn it; or the steam from a kettle.

I looked at these the other day in the shop but there was nothing on it that told the voltage shall be getting one next week and strippin git to check . but a minutes winding stores energy for upto 30 minute i think it said on the one i was looking at
