well, day 1 and so far nothing but improvement. I'm not totally off analogs but I'm digging it so far. I feel I need some flavor, I'm not liking the taste of the MB juice I bought, but I am liking the nicotine and I definitely see this as a viable alternative. I ordered some cherry and orange flavoring, also a pcc. So thx to all here and wish me luck. I smoked about 5 analogs today which is much less than normal, I hope to cut that down lower. All here are great and I give all members here a big thx. All newbs like me 510 rocks, just get some flavor, taste is a bit funky, but then again real cigs taste like crap too.

vodkayum...Sometimes it takes time to completly quit the analogs...with gradual progression you should be fine.Sorry to hear the MB was not to your liking....Hope the other two flavors work better for you...as I always like to say..There's always menthol..which has worked for me since day 1...Best of luck to you!!:)The Wiz!

not quiting the ecig, for sure it's an improvement. I think a little orange or cherry mixed with the MB will do it for me. Mint yuk, not my taste but thx for the encouragement and advice. I like what I'm doing so far, even when I smoke an analog it tastes funky now too. so it seems to be a bit of a struggle but soon i will be out of analogs then it comes to buying more or sticking with ecigs. I spent over 200 bucks on my ecig stuff and i am glad i did, they are a good alternative. When i run outta analogs I will be happy to vape. Even now i go off and on but vaping feels good. Also I am glad to at least cut down on analogs.

Glad to hear you're doing good. Your tastes will change for quite sometime as you get away from the analogs. Your senses will seem to become super sensitive for awhile and you'll probably love grape one week and be surprised at how much you like peach the next.

For now the advice I would give you is that it's a lot easier to put the smokes down for good then you might imagine. What I did was placed all my analog paraphernalia on opposite ends of the house (pack in the kitchen, lighter in the bathroom, ashtray in the laundry room). When I got an urge I decided going through all that to have a cig was more of a hassle then just sitting where I was and "vaping through" the urge. 4 or 5 drags and my urge was gone and so was my smoking habit.

The more you vape and the less you smoke, will switch your habitual triggers from smoking to vaping and soon you'll be disgusted by analogs all together, because honestly they taste like doody... or at least what I imagine doody would taste like if I had ever tasted it....

:oops::oops::oops: Oh look a badger! -------->

Take your time quitting analogs. Do it at your pace. If you have a cig or 2 a day, don't freak out over it. Eventually you will prefer the E-cig flavor and just kinda drift away from analogs.

or you could put forth effort.

Still, nothing to freak out over... not that I think you are, but perhaps some folks feel angst when switching to e-cigs. It is honestly so easy that you'll think someone is tricking you for awhile. It took me a month or two to stop looking for the "catch" and realize that the product had legitimately worked to get me off analogs LOL.

Me too vodka! I'm on day 2 and have only had two puffs off an analog, yuck! i also have the 510, i really like it so far. Ordered more juice today and a pcc and usb pass through. I've been a smoker for 38 years and i think this is what I've been waiting for, good luck to you!

That was the part that blew me away! The immediate yuck from analogs!! Before if I couldn't smoke I would use lozenges to tide me over until I could get that real smoke. None of the OTC nic products have EVER been effective for me to quit, just something to get me through. When I would finally get to that cig it would taste so good!!

Now I am down to two analogs a day, after 13 days of vaping, and even then they taste so nasty to me that I often don't even finish them...still crave a little CO though, but that is waning. This effect was right away! All the age-old reasons to actually smoke are evaporating in a sweet yummy vapor, and this is completely different than using sheer will power to ignore those convincing reasons. The genie is out of the bottle, and the emperor has no clothes! The PTB certinaly do not want that!

Rant off. :rolleyes:

Making flavored juices with Lorann flavors, high nic unflavored and VG or PG is so easy! Right now I am thoroughly enjoying 18 mg pralines and cream. Bavarian cream is another fave of mine, as is my own carmel apple recipe...shades of youthful autumn days...

But in the beginning while you are finding your right nic level, it is easier to get a bunch of premade juices to vape on while you get your flavor lab together! :thumbs:

Have fun and don't worry about the analogs. Where you are now is still way better than where you were before, and they will over time just finally become something you do not want, if your experience is like most of those here.

Vape on!
