coolfire 1 gets very warm ??? help

just got a coolfire 1 using efast imr high drain battery 18350 and a 2 ohm cartomizer (smoketech). I am finding after 4 or 5 vapes that it gets very warm not hot, above and around the switch and the carto. the carto does not burn though, and vapes fine. I am concerned as I have not experienced this with any other device. is it normal? or should I send it back? also the battery is slightly warm to the touch.
the batteries are new.

As long as the battery's in the right way there shouldn't really be anything to be concerned about. I live in a similar climate to New Jersey so I'm assuming it's hot as hell there right now too. My mods get pretty hot, indoors and outside especially.
