...just remove the screws and exacto the lugs out of the soft plastic...the brass tube is actually just 3/16" brass solid rod (you can buy 3 ft of it at Home Depot)...take a file and grind little screw bed notches so there is no chance of it coming apart when you drop it (like I have 3x already)
