I got an hcigar Copper Nemesis a couple days ago, and it is a powerhouse. However I keeping getting dry hits with it with my kayfun. same tank I use on my Caravela I just switch the kayfun back and forth. It is a 1.2ohm micro coil with 30g kanthal with a 50/50 juice. I never ever get a dry hit with this setup on the Vela but as soon as I switch it over to the Nemi I get dry hits. What can I do solve this? Higher ohm coil? bigger coil so I can use more wick?

It's probably because the voltage drop is less on the Nemesis. Copper is the better conductor of all of them. Try upping the resistance a bit next time. Also on the kayfun if you tip it on its side some they will often feed some extra juice into the channels. Do not crowd the two trays the wicks go in. All they have to do is touch the bottom and lay in it. If you jam them in to tight it will restrict flow. May also want to try a dual coil (see shotgun Coils). Cotton is the better wick material but if you get one dry hit then it needs to be replaced. I prefer ekowool because of that. Hope this is of some help.

I use a provari with my kayfun and have noticed that I need to turn the voltage down a bit compared to my other attys.

I'm not entirely sure why it works that way, maybe the kayfun is more efficient with the voltage.

So, I agree with steve, try making your coil a bit higher. I use silica, but.
