Copper Tellurium?

Just saw this guy.


Supposed to have a Copper Tellurium center pin.
Is this better than copper or stainless? If so why?
Also it is pretty.

Ok. So it is not pretty. It is CuTe.

It's cheaper and easier to machine than the more chemically pure, and costly C101 copper.
