Copper tube question

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I was curious as to how the negative end of the battery is wired to the atomizer connector, assuming the battery is inserted from the bottom, with a screw off cap, does the copper tube itself become the conductor for the negative end? It all seems simple enough.... Battery/switch/atty connector, and from the looks of the madvapes box mod kits. Thats all there is to it. But that one is wired to the negative end.

Yeah just about all Tube Mods utilize the tube as a conductor. Really it can be either negative or positive both will work. But you mostly see it used for a ground.
