Jeweler's Rouge is an Abrasive Polishing Compound. About the consistency of a Hard Candle Wax. You usually use it with a Buffing Wheel. But you can also use it by Hand.

Like Sandpaper, it comes in different levels of coarseness. And the coarseness is denoted by the Colour of the Rouge.

Jewelers Rouge & Polishing Compound Chart
I polish my knives with it too. This one took a long time to do :)

View attachment 666013 My Gaia came! Took me a while to adjust the 510 pin with the tiny little holes on the bottom. But I got it! It's flush!
Did you pick up a spares kit yet from fasttech , 510 pin fire button spring ect , they have v1 v2 kit for sale only a few dollars very handy to have these spares as there the only parts needed ,
bar 2 parts wish they would offer spare battery door and spare bottle top . This would be everything to keep stocked then to keep going for years ,

Yes, I got 1 v2 spare kit from Fasttech.

When you take everything off to adjust the 510 pin, does the 510 pin just fall out? Mine did. So I just put it & the fire button on the bottom & the top piece, adjusted the 2 little holes, then reassembled but you have to screw the bottle cap onto the 510 pin then the 510 pin is secured. Is that right?

If you just have One CV, it might be a Good Call to take some Pictures of how things go together before you take it apart.

The 1st Time I took mine apart, about 2 Hours after I got, I Couldn't remember if the long side of the Spring/Transfer Bar went towards the Button? Or if it went towards the 510.

Had to look on my 2nd CV to make sure.

Same with that Tiny Black O-ring that goes on the Button Positive Contact. Couldn't figure out why it Wasn't Firing after I put it back together? Turns out the O-Ring had rolled off the desk. And was sitting Half On/Half Off the edge of a desk Drawer.

It was Kinda a Million to One Shot that I found it.

BTW - There is a Peek Insulator that Isolates the Mod's 510 Pin from the Mod Body. Sometimes when you take the 510 Pin out, the Peek Insulator stay in.

This can be Bad News if you then take the Upper Section to the sink to give it a Quick Rinse.
