Ok first thing's first - I like my Clapton coils, but what I didn't like was the higher resistance builds. So I think I cured my Clapton mishaps (busted wire, hot spotting, etc.) and I had a brain meltdown, so I came up with the core-in method. Basically, I built a Clapton coil with 26AWG wire wrapped around 20AWG wire, installed, clipped, wicked, and juiced my build... and this is what it came out to .2 Ohms. Carries the warmth of the 20AWG wire, vapes like a Clapton, and is an option for clouds, flavor, and single coil lovers... takes awhile to break in though. I DID NOT remove the 20AWG wire from the coil and the 20AWG wire is STRAIGHTENED PRIOR TO COILING but here you go:

And yes, it's still hotter than a freshly !@#$ed fox in a forest fire.
For those of you who want to try this - a friendly tip - torch ALL of your wire after straightening. I noticed the hot metal taste or off taste goes away if your torch everything.
