UPDATE:

Looks like my Package did Another Loop on the ZHENGZHOU Merry-go-Round. That's the 4th time. LOL.

I got a reply from FT on the Ticket I started Yesterday. Annie said that it looks like it is being Kicked Out in a "Security Check". So she said she will try to contact the Post and see if it can get passed along.

Else, have it Returned and then try Another shipping method.

BTW - I Wonder if the reason the Package keeps getting Kicked-Out is because they think there is a Battery Inside this item?

$4.39 1W 30*LED 2-Mode 180LM LED Light - 6500K + 3000K / 3*AAA / magnetic tail / flexible neck at FastTech - Free Shipping

There Isn't. But maybe the X-Ray fits a profile for what they think is?

If could be your package has left ICS but the tracking has not been updated. This happens a lot these days.

But in a situation like this, I've used the "Where's my package" function for USPS many times and my packages that seem to be stuck somewhere usually magically start showing movement in tracking with delivery shortly after.
  • Copy your tracking #
  • Go to Contact Us | USPS or Go to USPS.com & click "contact us" link (bottom of page)
  • Click "Email us"
  • Click "where's my package"
  • Paste in your tracking # and hit "next"
  • Fill in all required info. (shipper info is not required, skip it)
  • For contents, select "unknown"
  • In the "Additional Information" box, simply type...
Package obviously lost. Please find and deliver.
    Type nothing else.
Your request will be forwarded to the post office where it was last scanned or to the receiving post office and might be contacted by that post office (although if you live in a large metro area that is serviced by a very busy post office you probably won't be contacted).

Easy peasy.

I've been very successful with this. They find it, they deliver it. I have not used this function post-pandemic, but it's still worth a shot as it takes just a couple minutes.
Thanks, Unc- this works. It sat in NY for 10 days. I did this 5/25, and tracking finally showed movement after 11 days. No telling how long it would've stayed in NY if I didn't submit this.

I have 2 of them. I hope that this isn't the Cause of all this Shipping Falderal.

Mine has done the same loop twice.
How did you get Annie to respond to your ticket?
I did open a ticket but got the "just wait" response from another rep.
Seems Annie takes the time to investigate.

Too bad it doesn't take an 18650....:(

It depends. Some 3xAAA lights' tubes and caps are designed to take accommodate and 18650 using one of these.

However, looking at a thread on the red version of this light, a user confirmed that it takes an 18500. Not as convenient if you don't already have 18500 batts, but still better than using AAA batts probably. Although I am not 100% clear from that thread if an 18650 fits or not.

Would be nice of @zoiDman could try an 18650 in his and let us know.

Not sure how I got Her? But when I saw her Name, I Smiled. Because she Can Get Things Done.

I'm running 18650's in both of mine. Work's like a Champ.

    (3 AA's = 1.2v x 3 = 3.6v <==> 1 18650 = 3.6v)

They have this Ginormous Spring in the Cap. Which makes putting the Cap on a small PITA. And, of course, the Cap Threading on the Tube is kinda course.

But the Light Shine Bright. And having a Magnet in the Base/Cap and that Orson Wells - War of the Worlds flexible Neck is Extra Cool.

I wish my desk was metal, I'd buy one. I need a new desk lamp.

I have a 3 Shelf Wooden Bookcase next to my desk that a Laserjet sits on. On the Top Shelf I keep an assortment of Mods and Atty's and Dip Tips and such. That's where one of these Lights lives.

To use the Magnet on the Light, I put a Steel Joining Plate used to flush join 2 by 4's on the shelf.

Then it held it down with one of these Jumbo Paperclips.

I was going to screw that Plate down also. But figured I'd see How it worked and if the placement was where I wanted it. So I went with the Jumbo Paperclip as a Temporary fix.

Than was about 3 Years ago.

    LOL

BTW - That Plate is Simpson Strong-Tie. They makes all kinds of Shapes and Sizes. And you can pick them up at Home Depot or a Home Center.

Well finally an update on the Jackaroo:

May 28 19:36 Imported to the country of destination Spain

Guessing it's in Madrid and it needs to be delivered here,if it's the national official delivery service ''Correos'' it could only take a couple of days, with other companies no idea.

But an update is an update,so ill take it as a win.

The Fasttech order I placed last month was delivered to the other side of the US yesterday. Good times. Still waiting on a response from them. I have a feeling this will be a $270 refund. It was the second tracking # they gave me. The first tracking # they sent with a pic of my package had the correct address.
