Correspondence question

Hey all

I was wondering if you could help me out.

I ordered my chuck on 28 April and paid that day. I originally had a couple of problems with the payment going through which I fixed up, so sent an email to Jeff letting him know (If it created any confusion). I didn't hear anything back, which I assumed was a good thing

I ordered a matte black chuck (so the pron thread is useless to me haha)

Can someone tell me whether I'll get confirmation via email when the device has been finished/posted?

I don't want to pester the guy with more emails so I'm hoping somebody can let me know about their experience.

After just over 2 weeks it should be in the pr0n thread at some point, once it's in there, you'll get a shipping confirmation. A few days later you will be the happy foster parent of your very own chuck!

Otherwise, unless there's some major information snafu that needs to be rectified, you won't hear from Jeff.

Since there are matte black chucks in the pron section all the time I guess I'm hanging out for that email now. Plus I'm in Australia (perhaps one of the only down under chucks?) so it could be a couple of weeks arg!!!

It will be worth the wait though.. It will last you forever.

When someone says their Chuck is in the pr0n, ask what date they ordered. That will give you a good idea if the black one in that batch is yours.

It's not exact -- I assume some take a little longer than others so Jeff makes adjustments to use his time best -- but it seems that all the people who ordered on any given day have their Chucks show up within a few days of each other's.

I ordered the 20th of April, and mine shipped on the 4th of May... so you could be looking at around Wednesday pr0n.

it's all good man, the wait is gonna be worth it! I'm right there with you on the wait killing me, but ya don't have a choice unless jeff gets strapped to his lathe! Even then, how could he mail em and collect his $$$ much less eat!

I ordered mine the 27th. If you see a rebel flag full sized chuck in the prons, ya know yers is close!

im there with ya on the crappy battery thing, I dont know if im going crazy, but I can tell the taste difference ona 510 batt when it starts to drop off slightly............BLEH!

I don't think I'll ever touch a 510 battery again!!!! I did the smart thing and have two chucks so if something goes wrong I have proper back up.

You'll love your chuck Jugs, I couldn't completely shed the analogs myself and then Chuck came along and I did it!! Still crave one on occassion but I've made it this far and I'd have to kick myself if I lit up at this point.
