I have been vaping for 2 months now (thank you again everyone) & was just wondering there are so many people upset bout attys going out, their batteries failing & such. I spent about $70 a week on smoking so basically i can buy juice every week & a starter kit every other week & still be saving money not to mention the health benefits from vaping which i can see now. So whats the big deal if a battery fails or an atty fails every so often? Trust me i have had my share of failures 4 dead 901 attys, 1 njoy atty, & 2 njoy batteries, on the titan now with a pcc & happy as a lark, & figured out i was killing attys by letting them go dry so switched from topping off to dripping & no dead attys since then. So guess my question is even if it did cost more would ya still vape? I know i sure as hell would.

Between saving money compared to tobacco cigarettes, feeling better, and having more fun with the process, I'm just having a blast not smoking. Granted sometimes I sit here and vape and start to wonder if it's all worth it, but then all of you support me by talking about and doing the same thing. This is more than just a way to quit smoking, it's the growing technology that we all work with to make giving up our nemesis tobacco an enjoyable activity. All the people that belong to this board are my support group that has never let me down. We teach each other, share our success and our failures, and in general just be the best support group for anybody that wants to put down tobacco. I lay odds that the people on this board are having more success quiting smoking than any other program or process ever had. Let them study the success the boards like this one are having and see if any other program even come close to what we are doing here. People we can all be proud with the success we are having with this cutting edge technology. I know I thank the posters on this board for my success.

I wouldn't care if it cost as much or even more than analogs. Getting rid of the tar, CO and who knows what chemicals going into my lungs, smoky smells in the home and cars, my wife complaining that even clothes she keeps in a closed closet smell smoky. As an added bonus I won't need to go outside to smoke no matter what the weather. I think, though, that I will easily spend only half what smoking cost me.

Exactly, I'm selling one of my kits to a friend because he wants to start vaping. He keeps asking if i'm sure it's cheaper than analogs. I kept telling him, the main things is that it's healthier. The price is just a perk.

I hope to keep vaping (if not banned) even if it is more than smoking, but I don't think it will be. I have spent a LOT initially, but I have enough supplies to keep me and d/h up for a pretty good while. I FEEL better and he is beginning to. I have cut down from 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day to maybe 3 cigs a day and he has cut from same amount to about a pack a day of 72's instead of 100's....so about half. He just told me that cigs make his mouth taste "funny" :)

The feds are soooo corrupt. I have been to the FDA comment section three times over a period of weeks and they have not published ONE of my comments. As a matter of fact, they have published less than a hundred all told and I will GUARANTEE you they have had more responses than that. They publishing primarily those that are against pvs. Look for idiots such as the one here the other day making outrageous claims against vaping. I REALLY believe someone is paying them to make up this stuff just to get pvs banned. Does anyone really think BT or BP or ASH, et al are above such underhanded tactics? Because I don't trust ANY of them.

IMHO

If you can stop yourself buying every new e-cig that comes out, and settle on ONE of the big-battery devices, vaping is MUCH cheaper than smoking.

I was spending 50UKP a month on cigs, nowadays I use 60ml of juice and one or two atomisers a month. (My batteries last months and months and cost just about 1UKP each). Do the sums.

For me, there was a very high initial outlay. I ordered the 901 and later a 510, only after my first purchase off Amazon for something called an e-health cig. I should have done more research, I guess.

Then of course I had to have extra carts, atties and batts for the 901 and 510. Plus the juices.

So what I've spent is the equivilent of approx 4 months worth of regular cigs. Not sure if my current supply of e-cig paraphanalia is equal to 4 months of vaping or not.

But, like others have said, I have to take into account the damage regular cigs do to my body, that e-cigs don't. And a whole lot of other advantages like not stinking, being able to vape in places I couldn't smoke, and the overall comparative cleanliness. Plus vaping is more like a hobby, with all the maintenance involved with e-cigs.

So all in all, the costs are probably equal, all things considered. And at some point in time, the cost will level out.

Now, if these e-cig suppliers would just stop having sales that I can't pass up.... :D

Where is this site. I have been searching for it, but it seems to be buried in a sea of information.

Took the words out of my mouth!:) I've been a member of a couple of other forums, but I've got to say I just love this place. We are pretty much working on the same goals and helping each other. I've never responded on another forum like this one. I truly enjoy being with you all. And even though I have spent quite a bit on this journey, I have a least 2years stocked up so for now I am resting alittle easy.:)
