I ordered five different flavors for my first shot at DIY. I thought Cotton Candy sounded pretty novel, and since I love sweets, I decided to try it first.

It tastes sort of like someone took a dog turd, soaked it in gasoline, caught it on fire, put it out with sugar, then put it in a tiny little bottle and marked it "Cotton Candy."

Anyone else try cotton candy from The Flavor Apprentice? Am I doing something wrong, or is this how it is supposed to taste?

Which cotton candy did you get? The circus peanuts one, or the plain one? If it's the plain one, what you got is 10% ethyl maltol solution. This wouldn't make a good standalone vape. It's really intended to be used in mixes (it is a flavor enhancer).

Not really sure. I ordered it from One Stop DIY Shop. Here is what the label has on it.

The Flavor Apprentice
Cotton Candy Flavor
Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Ethyl Alcohol

So I assume it is the plain one. I will try to mix it with some other flavors and see what happens.

Lmao. You made my night. I literally fell off my chair laughing.

Thanks for the laughs and don't feel bad because the juice I bought and paid $10 to $15 for tastes worse then yours

:)

It probably is. Use the google search box up top here and search for ethyl maltol for tips on usage, amounts, etc.
