How often do I need to change my cotton in my mod?

Just change it when your hits taste funky or if you're getting a burnt taste. Not like changing your engine oil, where you want to change it every 3000 miles.

If you use certain thicker juices, you may need to replace the wick more often. Also, if you use a cinnamon, or strong flavored juice, and then want to switch to something else, I find that I can't get rid of the cinnamon flavor without changing the cotton.

I've had wicks last me over a week, and others not last two days... totally depends!

I do find that if it isn't wicking properly, and the cotton gets burnt, you'll never get that burnt taste out until you change the cotton, so keeping the wick wet is important in having your wick last a long time.

Also...if your juice is high in sugar, it will gunk up coils and cotton quickly.

I run cotton in ALL my tanks. Be it Kayfuns, Ithanks or drippers. I can make cotton in the kayfuns and ithakas last dang near a week, but only about 2 days in my drippers. Bottom line...when your flavor starts to diminish or just get funky...change it out.

I didn't know that. I've had this cotton build for over two weeks now and I'm pretty sure it's time for a cotton change. When you say wick, you mean the cotton, correct? Because I think I've dry burnt mine a couple times because I had silica wick on there before and didn't know the difference.

Just don't dry burn cotton. Take it out, dry burn, replace with fresh cotton.
