Hello everyone, i just recently started using cotton to rewick my clearomizers. I've done this on 2 tanks and both of them have too tight of a draw now. What am i doing wrong?

Your putting to much cotton, easy fix, just use less cotton or pick it off some cotton from an already made one
Won't that cause me to have burnt his more often though? I've already experienced that and it's horrible! Thanks for the reply!
Yes, your cotton will burn faster but you really dont have much of a choice, what clearomizers are you rebuilding?

The cotton will swell up when it gets wet. You only want enough of a flavor wick to keep it from flooding. Too much will clog the airway. Just a matter of playing with till you hit the sweet spot.

If you want that perfect build you gotta keep tweeking and testing. Once you hit that sweet spot you will be one proud person in vaping nirvana.
Hey thanks everyone! Didn't think about it swelling lol. I would roll the cotton till it was about the size of the opening for the flavor wick. Makes sense now that you you all put it that way. I just need to get into rba and be done with it lol
I had the same problem with rebuilding the Aspire Nautilus and Protank's 2. After using cotton balls I decided to try Peaches and Cream Yarn from Walmart. The yarn works fantastic. It's just the right amount for both tanks. I couldn't believe how much easier it was to rebuild....took the guess-work out of how much cotton to use.

Okay im new. What do you mean by rebuilding your aspire tank? I have a kanger air tank as aspires are out of stock. But I burn a coils everyday and have shorts on my new provari! Its driving me nuts! My juice is thin and sweet. Do I put cotton in the actual tank? Sorry I sound so stupid. Are you rebuilding your own coils? I have no time for that with kids. I jst want a tank that works with my EVO JUICE THAT I LOVE! All other juices taste like incense and stink up my house. Please enlighten me? Thanks

Yes we a talking about rebuilding the coils. I don't have a Provari but if it's showing you have a short it's probably in your tank. Without rebuilding about your only choice is to change the coil. Check for juice leaking onto the center pin of your Provari as this can cause any number of strange affects.

Keonee i don't have one but i thought you couldn't rebuild the nautilus heads? I watched a video from rip tripper and that is the one downside he didn't like about the aspire nautilus.
Rip tripper released a rebuild video for it shortly after. Its only a single coil rebuild. Honestly comparing it to your basic protank rebuild which appears far easier, and I imagine wicks better with thicker juices
