Cotton/rayon wicks in RDAs.... How often do you change if you don't use daily?

My question is how often do you change your wicks if you don't use a certain rda every day? I.e. If you rewick it and use it tonight but don't use it for a few days, do you just add more juice and vape or change the wick(s).?

I understand that pulling wicking material thru coils often can affect the coil, but I'm unsure of everyone's thoughts on reusing a fairly dried out wick after a few days.

I've used rayon exclusively for the last 1 1/2 years. I have 4 tanks that I use all the time. Sometimes one will sit empty for several days to a week or more. Unless it's been sitting idle because it needed a new coil or wick, I simply add juice to it and vape away.

I would think it would be less likely to go bad if it's sitting there dry. After all, the wick starts out dry to begin with.

I didn't say it would go bad from not being used. I asked if there was any reason to change wicks between a few days of use. More along the lines of the taste being affected, etc.

Sorry, I misunderstood. When phrased that way, I still think the answer is: No, there's no reason to change it out. I've never noticed an off taste from a wick that's been used a bit, then not used for a while. I have a house in PA and one in FL that I bounce back and forth between. Some of my mods and atties go back and forth with me, but some don't. The ones that stay behind don't get used for weeks at a time. I pick them up, squonk them to make sure the wick is wet and vape them happily.

I change my wicks, regardless the atomizer I am using every 10-15ml of juice.... Depending on which of my toppers we are talking about that could 3 to 6 months or 1-2 days per wick. I change my wick only when dirty.
