Cotton taste

I have tried everything to make the cotton soggy taste go away I've changed the coils, used organic cotton and I boiled the organic cotton and it all taste like cotton I've tried not packing it a lot and it still tasted like cotton and I tried packing it a lot and it still tasted like cotton. This is very frustrating I have a massive headache from it now someone please help me and tell me what to do

You could maybe try rayon (cellucotton). I've not used it myself as I don't seem to ever taste regular cotton but from what I've read it's suppose to wick well and not have that cotton taste.

i used to use organic cotton balls and i recently got some muji organic cotton pads and i can taste my juice alot more

I'm gonna take it to the shop it smells bad I have no idea why and it's really aggravating me tbh it makes me not wanna dripp anymore

If you're that bothered by it you can put a couple cotton balls in a microwave save (glass hopefully) bowl with some distilled water and put it in the microwave for a couple minutes moving the cotton around occasionally. Dry it off with paper towels or by squeezing the water out and leaving it somewhere that it can air dry..

And fluff the cotton out before you roll it up and pull it through the coil. spread it out so it's nice and loose and you can make sure the fibers are facing the same direction then gently roll it up so it will fit snugly but slide easily when dry. That way when it's wet it will have plenty of surface to wick with and fit the coil pretty evenly.

9 times out of ten tasting your cotton is due to wicking problems, at least after the initial period.. fire the mod a bit and blow on the coil to help the wicking process start and if need be let it sit for a while before you start vaping off of it.

+1 for rayon I also had the same problem with the cotton taste and tried rayon never went back.
