I've decided to go with cotton wicks as suggested by a fellow ECF member.

"Koch Industries Cotton Butchers Twine, 370 ft. Ball - Tractor Supply Online Store"

I'd like to get something close if not similar to it or if anyone has other suggestions for Cotton wicks? My local stores doesn't carry Koch's brand specifically. I've seen other "cotton twines" from eBay and Amazon but I thought I'd try to get a better bearing for cotton wicks before I purchase anything.

Which types of cotton wicks/twine are better? Safer? Pros/Cons?

Edit: I'm mainly using the cotton wick for dripping. Are there specific ones that soak the juice faster for quick vaping?

i use 100% pure cotton 3mm yarn from walmart 250' for $1.77. boil before use ofcourse. Who would of thought of a cheap and very effective wicking material? I also drip in an RDA & IGO-L and love the way these perform. Holds more juice than silica and you can tell when it's starting to dry hit by the change in warmth of the vape. This stuff in my opinion are superior to silica. You don't have to change them out as ofter, they don't fall apart like silica does, doesn't get mucked up like silica. Only have one draw back that comes to mind...no dry burning!, but with all it's good qualities there's no need.

check out my videos on my drippers on sub ohm coils and cotton wicks

lol was gonna go to $1 store after work today. Haha perfect :)

I alternate between cheesecloth and the cotton rounds from dollar tree. They both work great and I can't tell the difference if there is any.

ps. If you happen to need an extra pair of tweezers, their one dollar Sally Hansens are great for working with wick and wire.

Glad to see a fellow vaper on a budget like me and still making it happen. Cheers!

If you are going to use cotton rounds or cotton balls, since I don't see how we can boil those, it's probably even more important that you buy organic. Cotton is grown with all kinds of nasty chemicals and that is why people are boiling it.

I haven't tried this yet, but I ordered some cotton rounds from here.

Wow, talk about dragons! Any way you could direct me towards a tutorial on how to make the wick and coil?

Still trying to figure out the best way to make a wick and coil on my aga-t2. I get a funky taste and even a glowing coil like my wick can't keep up.

I'm an rba noob so anyone willing to lend a hand would be greatly appreciated!

What is your resistance and voltage? What is your wick material?

I tore it out already, but I think it was around 2.5 ohmz.

My available supplies at the moment are 32 awg kanthal and a whole lot of 100% cotton medical gauze.

No problems with vivis and evods. I've got a igo-l at 2.0 ohmz that works good. I just don't know the ideal way to set up cotton wick/coil with the aga-t2. Recommended set up with cotton in mind? Pics would be very helpful if possible

hmm i wouldn't use medical gauze. it singes fast and doesn't wick fast enough in a genny. you really should use the ss mesh with it. www.delawarevapors.com has a good price on 6"x8" 400 mesh for like 6 bucks.

you can try using cotton on it. i would use 100% pure cotton yarn from walmart 3mm x 250' for like $1.77 it's what i use in my drippers.
toddsreviews on youtube does a silica setup on the aga t that will give you guidance. :vapor:
